Your work is priceless. :salute:
Greetings, I have a question.
I want to change the campaign map settlement appearances in RS III because I prefer previous ones like in RS2. Can you tell me which files I should replace?
Italian plate armor is my favorite, well done. I have one question about Maximilian helmet though, doesn't it belong to 16th century?
Same here m8, I would never play even pirated version of this garbage game, but just for this amazing mod I took a risk of bankrupt and bought it for the whole 5$! I didn't buy all the dlcs for like...
@WeekendGeneral
Wow, great to see somebody so familiar with history books about Georgia. But tbh, I didn't suggest some of the foreign historians writing about Georgian military history because...
It happens, once i wrote "reach" instead of "rich" in an exam and it sounded quite funny in its context. :)))
@finix very nice as always. :thumbsup2

Yes, same with 3 branch bow. That's what i have read in the article but i don't know how it looked like.
@Lifth
Svans had cult of wolf, so they should make a good use of it, also they weren't really known as shepherds.

Current one was built in 11th century in the place of old 5th century cathedral. Anyway, check the PM, i have just sent it.
I will send you PM.
Thank you very much! By chance, maybe there are also banners of Armenia and Shirvan respectively?

@JoC
That's why i also add approval words when i say that BC is inaccurate. You should have noticed it couple times in this thread and you could find many praising paragraphs in my old posts. BC is...
@JoC
I didn't mean to humiliate your knowledge. I know it is greater than mine, just like the contribution to Total War mods, seriously. But i think, after joking about me saying "T2/T3 Aznauri", as...
@JoC
I said Azნauri should be replaced by T2(tier 2) Aznauri, what means only their tiers and not names. I see you aren't familiar with Attila system. I didn't say all units should be present at...
@umbra
Yes it can replace the slot but Msakhureuli should be medium like Metsikhovne.
Msakhureuli Swordsmen will be historically more accurate, also there is one medium spear unit already.
I see I have hit the right spot. :evil4: Yea i won't compare you with the Russians and you don't compare us with our brotherly neighbors.
But still when i hear Polish, i can make out some Russian...
Nope. The thing is that we have nothing common - different language groups, different genes and phenotypes, different religion and alphabets, mentality, culture(in many ways of understanding). The...
@JoC
I strongly disagree. I don't know about the Alpes(It was just an example, probably not the best) but in Caucasus nobody would consider themselves to be "from here, from these mountains, from...
Different types of lamellar armor
Lamellar with protuberances (single-rivet):

Lamellar with protuberances...
I think that such units indicate ignorance about the region. It is the same to make unit called "Alpine Hillmen"(The word hillmen is the stupidest part, coming from CA's first games). It would grasp...
@JoC
- We shouldn't relate the changes neither to the very appearance (1220AD) or Invasion (1235-1243) of Mongols. It would take some time to influence the equipment. That's why 1250 is the most...
@JoC
- Ok, i will post about the characters of both Eras later.
- There are no historical portraits unfortunately. I can only post frescoes and some nice modern drawings/portraits.
- We have...
@JoC
About High Era Campaign:- There was siege of Ani in 1236. It was ruled by Shanshe Mkhargrdzeli, Shahanshah, (age 29). His cousin Avag Mkhargrdzeli was Amirspasalari of Georgia.
- Kingdom was...
Maybe you have already noticed that i was passive for a while. Well, i'm going to improve that. :thumbsup:
Firstly, @Melooo182 thank you very much! I am glad if our suggestions and materials are...
Again, your roster - your choice. But those helmets are present only on 12-14th century Georgian depictions, fresco in Lucem Mundum's post is also 14th century, so i would remove them from late...
@Alexios
I have specifically written two sentences in two paragraphs not to mix them up..
But I will make it clear:
1)You shouldn't use those egg-shaped helmets with metal balls in late period...
You shouldn't use Georgian Early/High period egg-shaped helmets in the late period.
I think you should completely remove those which have metal balls on the top. If i'm not wrong, Rus helmets had...
@JoC
- They should disappear after Mongol invasion. In this game the date will be around 1250 when High period units of Georgia should show up. historically they were disbanded a little bit...
@JoC
- Idk, i would remove it from units like Tadzreuli Guard Lancers. But probably we should use it on units like Monaspa because there are two versions of them - lancers and archers.
- Chukchi...
To release campaign they have to complete those new factions/revamps anyway.
I like how you changed the class of Pomostniki but the change of Guard Axemen is questionable for me. If you reduced the lamellar just to make them different from tier 2, then i strongly disagree....
Well, Georgia should have southern European portrait but that one looks like Arabic.
What's coif then? Shorter camail or camail open on the front(chest and throat)?
Chest Disks
In the second half of 13th century and first half of 14th century Georgians used to wear metal disk on the chest which was introduced by Mongols. It was used with both chain and...
Why spouse icons are the same Muslims have? Even Kipchaks had white skin, not to mention Byzantines, Alans and Armenians whose icons should be there mostly.
And don't forget to correct the name of...
Davit' Aghmashenebeli and generally Davit' instead of David. :)
Seriously, what about forgetting David IV and Vakhtang? :D There are already enough(4) family members at the start. Since we can't...
There are many inaccuracies on wikipedia. English and Georgian versions are contradicting each other. :doh:
So, I opened the history book of Tbilisi State University based on the works of Georgian...
Vakhtang lost eyes in 1130 when he was child, just 12 years old. Actually he was used by high nobles to somehow justify their revolt. So, lets forget him because adding him is too unhistorical....
@Lifth that flag was reconstructed according to written sources. Unfortunately there are no visual proofs. I will post about 12-15th century Georgian flags some time later.
