Sticky: Re: Townhall - Curial Commentary and Chat

According to the application thread the consul's term apparently has already expired. Or it's a lazy copy\paste from the last time when it actually was.

    The debate thread is here.

    One might...

Maybe JC's mod version has a dev update or you are running an older version? In other words: the save info is dependent on some updated file(s).

It will help if you can point to the download you...

  5. Re: Kingdoms Grand Campaign Mod 5.0 - Steam compatible

In theory it sounds easy. If you know your way around a computer and how to uncompress a RAR\ZIP file and how to create desktop shortcuts. You'll be amazed how many users require a lengthy video to...

An executable file is the best way to guarantee a flawless installation, in this case it actually looks up your game's registry entry and adjusts the installation path accordingly - may I know what...

  8. Re: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Crusades

Taking the city back would be either through diplomacy or conquest. I can see where the latter can be considered an exploit - simply have a 'house' rule that a certain number of turns have to pass...
  9. Re: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Crusades

Handing over the city in a hopeless situation does not sound 'exploity' to me. More like a desperate race to get an ambassador to the right place in time.
  10. Re: How I Learned To Stop Worrying And Love The Crusades

There might be a misunderstanding what disband progress does - it defines the minimum distance the army has to travel towards the crusade target to avoid desertion.

"Usually' - famous last words  The odds are most of the times in your favor but the one time they aren't it can lead to some nasty surprises.

Nice stuff - I am actually starting to enjoy the 'realistic' view where the focus in the distance is getting lost.
  17. Re: Rome I kind of siege by multi number AI controled armies.

Never came across anything in that aspect - it would appear that allied co-besiegers are considered re-enforcements in M2TW, not besiegers themselves, hence do not build equipment.

    To be honest -...

  22. Re: Trouble with multiple/"provincial" campaigns

Using a template when things don't work out is often the best way to get things rolling. The sole reason why my Bare Geomod setup exists. It includes two base provincial campaigns as well.

[Tutorial] Re: Creating a World Basic mapping from scratch

I am not sure if you are talking of creating a brand new faction, or using a faction that already exists in the descr_sm_factions file. The latter is rather simple, all you do is enter the faction as...

I believe I pointed out that the term is inherently subjective and that your equally inherently subjective merit is the only criteria for it's definition. That's hardly ignoring I would think?
