That's Amadeus of Savoy but I have no idea how could his biography text appear instead of his name. There should have been an event showing.

Just Thesallonica. For King of Albania you need Despot of Valona and Prince of Albania (In Durazzo, also requires Lord of Mat (Kruje)). Then send your faction leader to Durazzo with large feudal...
Latin Emperor title requires:
Constantinople
King of Thessalonica
Prince of Achaea (Andreville, Baron of Corinth, Baron of Patras, Baron of Kalamata (Modon), Baron of Geraki (Mystras))
Despot of...
Condottieri Pikemen unlock in 1460 (as do all other pikemen) and Condottieri Heavy Cavalry in 1430 (Milanese event)
To answer some of the recent posts, the Hungarian invasion of Naples is supposed to be a challenge, they actually captured Naples historically...
Well it's a choice between not paying and facing a large and experienced mercenary army, or paying the exorbitant fee and avoiding conflict. The army you get may be small but the units are...
They are supposed to be overpriced because they are basically blackmailing you into paying them off. That's what it happened historically, these guys were extorting Italian states for massive amounts...
Didn't you get Alberico de Barbiano character with Condottieri Heavy Cavalry as his bodyguard unit?
Devastation effect is long lasting. It will continuosly decrease but it takes quite a few turns...
Well that's one of the fixes that's actually save-game compatible. The battle_models file is loaded before each battle, not at the start of campaign like most others
None of these units are new. Some just unlocked at a later date and all of these have second half of the 15th century appereance. As you can see, pavises were very popular

As many you can fit on the texture map which is usually 1024x1024 pixels
here's the current Hungarian banners texture, some flags can be kept but most are outdated for this era

Here you go. They are in .dds format. I included the blank textures of Familiares pavises, floating flags, handheld banners and also a blank sallet

We did had some interesting ideas for Karamanids, like capturing the old territories of Sultanate of Rum and thus getting the Sultan title and unlocking the Ghulam units. It was never implemented...
Are you playing 4tpy? There is an event in 1390 called Seljuk Restoration which unlocks the 4 Ghulam units
Yeah I guess this is final.
We have the Maximilian armour upgrade which unlocks in 1500
From Level 3 Mercenary Barracks in Karamanid starting regions. Any feedback on the campaign?
Personally I'd prefer to keep the current Armati, they fit so well with the rest of the Magyar units

Thanks, I'll make the necessary adjustments. Although that helmet looks very similar to the one used by Armati

There is a distinction in game between feudal and professional units. Every faction has feudal knights and retainers like sergeants so there's nothing unique about those units. I think a fully...
Hungary already has all those mercenaries available so we're covered there. But most of those are infantry, I'd like to include a fully professional heavy cavalry unit to help represent the cavalry...
Well I presume they would be similar to nobles, so gothic plate just without horse armour. So I'd just some shield examples
How should the Royal Mercenary Heavy Cavalry look like?
Very interesting, thanks. According to that video, the majority of Black Army was cavarly, so I was thinking we could add a professional cavalry unit to the roster?
This is hardcoded so it would be same as in any other mod. AFAIK on higher battle difficulties, the AI only gets morale bonuses, not like in RTW where they also get stat buffs. Personally I play H/H...
Hungary will have access to Serbian Gusars as mercenaries from the start and the native Hussars unlock in 1470. I would actually be interested in creating a new model for those. Post the images in...
From the images I've seen I'd agree that the current Hussar Lancers are a bit out of our timeframe. They look more like our Serbian Gusar unit
Yeah Hungary could have more than 4 since it's a large faction. As it stands they have 7 (Hunyadi, Frangepan, Garai, Bathory, Zapolya, Ujlaki, Zrinyi) but we could remove some if necessary. Garai was...
Nobles will not have fully armoured horses. Only bodyguards

Nah, the roster is excellent and very historical.
Here's a couple of new additions:
Albanian Halberdiers, Mountain Skirmishers and Durres Crossbowmen

Heh I was wondering about those symbols as well :) The top one could be Bosnia

Yes they should be limited to regional capitals
Just checked, they are only in tier 3 mercenary barracks in regional capitals and only 1 every 12 turns, so he must have a huge empire to field...
Well 1487 is the historic date the Landsknechts were created :)
The Swiss Reisläufer were the best mercenaries of their age so they have the best stats (exceptional quality). Though maybe our...
