    2 ways I know are:
    1) via script cheat
    2) saveparser should have this option,...

    no, haven't tried and no it's not a problem of testudo/pigs, the overwriting is exactly the same.

    try to do this: open a new campaign, end turn, save, load, end turn and see if the icons are 2.

    it should give the General's status (the effect with age, moral, mental, physical) to AI too without serious lags.

    here, this should be pretty definitive (for next release, at least).
    in grey brackets there are descriptions about 12tpy (turn means every turn, season means every 3 turns, year means every 12)...

    it is a dei feature about historical spawned characters.
    it can be removed (I would have to check) but I never cared much about it.
    my opinion would be to remove it entirely...

    no, just the units inside the land admin army which actually means the BG will cost 20% more since as soon as you have more than 1 unit you'll get a different (penalty) effect

    but if you're playing multiplayer keep in mind you can't change the battle difficult which may lead to battle unbalancements.

    - official hardcore
    - data venia
    - alternative economy
    - DeI realism
    - testudo

    they are all more difficult than DeI

    yeah, that's the correct strategy even if 150 turns maybe are a little too much... everyone can make his choice anyway, this is surely a good thing for gameplay.
