    Not totally historically accurate I agree (what film is)? However very good fight scenes and a well made film with good acting.

    The original HBO 'Rome' was designed to be a five or six season show. Online you can even find what season three, etc, were going to cover, before it was cancelled and hacked into just two seasons.

    From what I have read the 'Rome' film will have nothing to do with HBO, other than the main screen writer and some of the original actors.
    A movie is likely to make money, more difficult with a TV...
