    If you own one or two of the regions and the rest of the province is held by one of your vassals or military allies then it counts as you holding the whole province. I seem to remember.

    Are you using the supplies submod? I stopped using it because that kept happening when armies ran out of supplies, which I think would have happened if they were floating about for a few turns.

    Seems like when the ai is at war with a lot of factions and are located by the sea they float around as though they can't decide where to send their armies.

    Ofc not balanced for ae but I've left it on by accident before and had some of the best battles I've ever had and nothing seemed so unbalanced. And they were long lol. Maybe it wasn't even loading...

    Have you selected 'unlimited video memory' in the graphics settings? That should help. It's definitely possible to run the mod with maxed out graphics.

    Theres a mod on steam called 'pikes ready in your hands'. Using that pikes seem way more effective and they actually make the phalanx formation under ai control. Might help, maybe you're using it...
