Out of curiosity, do you guys have an ETA on the changelog?
About education; I usually wait untill they're at least 'Cultured' before I let them start their military career. If they haven't gotten the trait when they reach 23-24 they're off to the legions....
I use this : https://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?732044-Official-Historical-Army-Compositions-for-2-2
Where are you getting this from?
I strongly disagree. Those full stacks curb the Romans somewhat, and prevents them roflstomping the other factions. I almost exclusively play as the Romans, and those rebel stacks keep me on my toes.
Nice! Do you have a download somewhere?
This is exactly how I feel. I went on the Paradox forums to check the reception of Imperator. It's quite a mixed bag. I see a lot op people justifying a bare bones game, 'because PDX will improve it...
Out of curiosity, how do you switch out the different lines (principes for hastati) without causing a massive rout?
HistoryMarche surely deserves a mention. Similar to King and Generals. https://www.youtube.com/channel/UC8MX9ECowgDMTOnFTE8EUJw
I've been playing EB for years now and I've never seen a character with a longer name than this guy :
Servius Sulpicius Praetextatus Aemilius Barbula
I thought the usual naming scheme was a...
Could you provide us with a screenshot? I'm curious how they look.
These look absolutely amazing!
I was wondering if there were other factions that have (political) offices like the Romans and Qarthaginians.
I tend to leave my young FM's in Rome until they get the 'Cultured' trait. When they receive it they're off to the legions until they're eligible for Quaestorship.
Here's one included in the XGM mod. You can edit it to fit RS though.
It would really help if you got a notice saying a battle qualified towards the reforms.
I love the way you show the battles. They can be quite tiresome to watch in full, but the way you show them is great.
Yeah I know, but there must be a way to add more in, or change a characters first name in the save file?
When you progress in a campaign as the SPQR, you get a lot of characters that have the same name. I like to keep track of my generals, and it's kinda hard figuring out who's who sometimes.
There...
Is this the case for every faction? I tend to leave my young romans in Rome until they're at least Cultured.
That's simply amazing. It always bugged me that sub-commanders never gained any experience.
I read the romans use the AuxiliaryGeneral trait as well. Could you explain how this trait works exactly?
It's on the change log, so that's why I asked.
New titles for Rome?
Right, thanks. Is there a way to give one specific unit a number? For example, if I recruit a unit of Hastati in Rome, this unit will be Legio I. If I recruit a Hastati unit in Capua, this unit will...
I'm playing a Romani campaign, and I was wondering if I they have numbered units somewhere down the line. Maybe after a reform?
Look at all the threads in this forum that barely get replies. People asking real questions, which get ignored. And this troll guy comes along and you all take the bait. Over 60 replies in less than...
Where did you see this? I''m playing a Romani campaign, and haven't encountered any named units yet.
I defeated a huge garrison at Felsina as the Romani. Does that count towards the 4 battles I need to have in that region for the reforms, or do I have to fight 4 land battles there?
How do the named legions in this work? I can't find anything in the files.
Could this be updated so that it's compatible with the latest (2.2l) version of EBII?
Are roman legions in this as well? And is it possible to get maybe one or two legion ancillaries early?
I try to expand historically, but I must admit I don't use Allied Governments at all. I was planning on using them in my next game though.
I keep the Aediles,Tribunus Plebis,Censor and the Pontifex Maximus in Rome. Characters can only govern a city if they have an office with imperium, that does mean cities are often without governors....
In my last game I've had some trouble with the education, where a couple of generals gained the 'Unschooled' trait, so I'll have to look out for that in my next game. Usually a character stays in...
Pretty cool. Just a quick, and probably a dumb, question; Can you actually pick a king of britannia, gallia and the baltic, or are you just roleplaying?
How does this actually work? I've had 3 generals in a row that are Unschooled even though they spent 2 years in Rome where I had an Acadamy.
Thanks for clearing that up. I fight all my battles on the battlemap, so no worries there. I'm guessing I need to wait a few turns then, since I reached turn 100 and haven't gotten the reforms yet.
Really? I haven't gotten any of those messages. Are you sure it works that way?
