I'm absolutely sure that EB Team doesn't provide file which are somehow corrupt :) Played for the first time the first EB around 2009, also played previous versions of EB II and everythings was...
Downloaded 7-zip. Afterwards downloaded non-installer version again. Same problem as before. Get an error message about more than 700 corrupted files.
Intriguingly the list seems to include...
This error message appears by unzipping the mod from non-installer version.
As an example the error message from the most current, today's download. Every time it effects different files. For the last download it was music, for the one before Pahlavi voices etc. During the...
Yes, sure. When I've tried to use non-installer version, every time an error message appeared during the unzipping process. The error message was that it is inpossible to unzip the files (plenty of...
Deactivated Windows Defender, as the only anti-virus, downloaded non-installer version three times and additionally the google drive link. Same problem.
Thank you. Just delted the old virtual HD and created a new one (larger + dynamic). Though had to delete Medieval 2 from Steam and download it anew.
It's strange. I've downloaded now for...
I have two questions regarding the installation process.
- To move Medieval from Programme Files I've created a virtual HD (F:). However for the instllation of EB the new F: directory was slightly...
Yes, yes, yes. Finally! Great news, many thanks Rhaymo!!! :thumbsup2 :)
All hail rhaymo! :worship:
In the internet there is not a single one mention about antiocheia eschate except of only three which are all referring to EB2. Pliny who lived long after Antiochos is also speeking about Alexandria...
Shouldn't the city Antiocheia Eschate replaced by Alexandria Eschate. First as far as I know there was no city with such a name. The only one which would be close is Antiocheia in Scythia (Αντιόχεια...
Same here. Though an additional germanic faction would be nice as well.
I ... can't .... wait ... any .... longer :laughter:
You could build settler baracks only if new colonists arrive and this is only available if you have a metropolis. Governeuers have an impact on the conversion rate, but the problem is that there are...
Exactly the same happened with my 2.01 campaign. :(
Again, the problem is that you can establish a colony only if you have a metropolis, having a polis is not enough (Baktra for example a polis from the beginning on). So you never get a colonist, not...
I've played the 2.01 version. Now I'm playing with the extended offices submod, where Baktra is a metropolis from the beginning on and it works fine.
Exactly this is not possible.
Baktra is the city with the highest cultural level of 50% of you starting cities. In my last game in turn 131 it was surrounded by baktrian provinces since more or less...
Many thanks for your great sub-mod! Especially the change of Baktra into the metropolis is very important. Without this change the baktrian reform can't be completed due to a vicious cycle (you need...
Any indication when the update will come this time? :) I want to start a new Roman campaign despirately, but the SPQR bug completely ruins a game with the romans and according to the announcement...
I have a problem with culture mechanics in my current Baktria game.
To get the reform you need three steps.
1) reject tribute payments to Arche
2) win 9 battles and conquer 2 provinces from...
But if these settler points are generated by metropolis I can't receive any of them because neither of my cities (including Baktra) has such a status. Or do I misunderstand something?
About the...
Seems like a bug. Playing with Baktria it's not possible to build watchtowers in Drangiane (capital Prophthasia). The whole province is affected, tried this with 3 different characters.
In Oktobara I've had in fact Indigeneous Recruitement building. Destroyed it, but can't build a greek equivalent, probably due to a low greek culture level. In Baktra I have Hellenistic Polis...
In my current Baktria game, I've became independent after winning 9 battles and conquering 2 regions. However it's still not possible to build Basilike Patris. I suppose the reason is a low greek...
Thanks a lot guys. These are in fact bad news. With the visiable growth rate you would at least have a good indication which of your actions have a positive and negative cultural effect.
Probably a stupid question, but where can I see the actual growth rate of my culture within the city? In the city details window, if I understand it correctly, only the actual difference between your...
The unhistorical movement rate in EB I was in my opinion the most critical issue in otherwise best mod alltime. In Roma Surrectum II it was solved in a much better way. However the most annoying part...
Oh, I didn't know this. Thanks.
ok, thank you. The only submod that I'm using besides this one is "positive traits". Do you know if the baktrian reform trigger (sucessful war against Arche) will be somehow affected by such a broken...
arrgh, my bad. Please delete this thread.
Replaced the file, but the fix seems not working :( By clicking on "yes" button being asked about the tribute to Arche, I don't lose 3.000 mnai. Any idea what's going wrong?
Due to the map. In Rome 2 we have not a labyrinth style map which is awful for a grand strategy game. When I play Rome 1 or Medieval 2 - I'm playing Total War, when I play Rome 2 - I'm playing...
Yyyyyyyyyessssssss! Thank you so much!!! :)
Seriously. Any indication when it will be released? We are wating already one year for this patch. Please let us know how long it will take, at least approximately.
Romani, then Baktria, then either Bosporos or Seleukeia
Ah, ok. I misunderstood the statement. Thank you for the clarification :)
But is the 100% level isn't too high? Even during the late Republic legions where recruited in areas that was romanized relatively poorly. I mean the 100% mark makes sense like in the example above...
