Re: Let's all vent about EBII!

You two may be right, I've gone too far.
Note that I've apologized to marble emperor, and I never had any harsh word for wermez, I'm even giving him skinning tips in private.
    Let's stop this mess...

QS insists to keep this stuff private, but the truth is that it has been discussed ad nauseam in our internal forum already. What did it change ? nothing. QS did not change his behaviour at all,...

Re: Let's all vent about EBII!

Quantity =/= quality. Also this graph is worthless, I could as well make 100 commits to the build in one day and say I'm 100 times more productive than the guy who did one.

This issue was just the last straw, and you know it very well.

Let me repeat then : no one forced to take this level of commitment, so you don’t have the right to complain about it. You...

Even if it's true that ancient armies did not fight to the death all the time, there is lot of factors that cannot be recreated in medieval 2. The engine only allows for an abstraction of what...

    Re: EB-Twitter updates Discussion

True, but EB is about historical accuracy, and no unit should be added for gameplay reasons only. Also keep in mind the unit roster of EB2 is not 100% done yet.

    About this, 2 things :
    - Overall the mod is very easy, especially in battles because for some reasons the unit moral is very low. Which means that unless you set home rules you will face little...

Over time, thanks to his work QS has become the de facto leader. He’s a productive member, the problem is that he’s very bad at team working and treats other people’s work with little respect.

Helmets are not particularly common in celtic burials where lots of weapons were found, this is why we chose to depict many of them bareheaded or wearing simple leather caps.

    [Submod] Mute the carnyx

In 2.3 the carnyx and trumpet sounds are very loud, some people may not like it.
With this submod you can either lower the sounds of carnyx, or mute them entirely....

Their model is slightly different. They have more clothes (:laughter:), different helmets and darker skin, to represent the influence of hellenistic culture.
