    I've never worked on battle stuff so I wouldn't know in that regard

    your pack seems fine, be sure to load it above DeI so to overwrite
    if you wanna be 100% sure, jsut put a @ before your string...

    anyway effects are: db > effect_bundles_to_effects_junctions_tables...

    changes personalities (which concur for a lot of AI decision) and diplomatic attitude.
    In one word, they are diplomatically nastier... and more aggressive.

    not sure, check the rome2_effects_list excel file, should contain every possbile effect (besides custom ones, which anyway work the same as the listed ones)...

    there is a way to assign a different battle map to a map hex, but you don't have any way to build custom maps until someone makes attila TeD's compatible
    let's wait for the strat map tool and see...

    no, there is no plan for DeI vanilla
    the only 2 mods (I know of) that plan to have a MBS feature are ror666 (DeI submod for the rotr dlc) and attila's tDD (lotr mod)
