Alright, sad but now I know. Cheers! :-)
Hey, I always get a CTD when I put more than 21 units into the same control group (with "CTRL+1") on the battle map. Any way to prevent that?
And yes, it indeed is possible to have more than 20...
Ok guys, I quickly implemented it and attached the file for the new 2.4a Version. Have fun :-)
Simply copy it into your folder "...\Medieval II Total War\mods\ebii\data" (CAUTION: DO NOT put it...
Hm, I just took a quick glance at the new version v2.4a. Apparently, this issue is still not fixed. Yet, the fix would be so simple. One would only need to change the probabilities as I described...
There's no such thing as an "menu.lnt". Searched through several mods I have installed, none of them has a file called like that. Do you perhaps mean the "mtw2.lnt"? Even then, the files in...
During battle, when clicking on your faction symbol, all units (yours, that of the enemy and allied forces) are flashed in different colours. I have a mod where this is switched off (dHRR 8.0a). Does...
Usualy, in M2TW in battle you can click your faction icon to flash your units in green, those of the enemy in red and allied troops in blue. However, in dHRR 0.8a the button seems to have...
Ok, I read through various posts now concerning this issue. It seems that game mechanics work the way that wifes are only proposed to your sons as soon as ALL (!) your daughters have been married...
Ok, now here's another thing. For some weird reason I totally don't get, only my daughters get marriage proposals but not my sons. Why is this?
I have now 25 generals plus 3 male kids and 45...
Damn it, he also says that unborn children actually count towards the generals cap, as well. This explains why my family members currently don't get any children even though I killed off all of my...

I noticed that roughly every third patrician being adopted or married into the family is called Sergivs Orata. Today, I took a look into trigger section of the traits and realized why this is.
The...
Wow, didn't know this! This really is a game changer for me! Thanks a lot for clearing that up! :-)
Ok, so by this you mean recruited generals, although not part of the family tree, still count towards that ratio?
Guys, listen to what QuintusSertorius and Jurand of Cracow said. If you decline adoption and marriage proposals you're really gonna screw up your family tree! What I usually do, is ALWAYS accepting...
Hey Callistonian, thanks for your reply! In this case, I seem to have mis-written. I indeed use Vercingetorix' script - so actually unpacking the .dat files. Also, specified to have it unpacked all...
Can anybody tell me where I can find the vanilla voice files of M2TW for the campaign map? I.e. looking for the folder data/sounds/Voice/Human/Localized/Camp_Map. When unpacking the idx-files in...
I'm getting a CTD everytime I take an Italian settlement. Once I did manage to take the settlement, but as soon as I clicked on the buildings menu, CTD. Seems like it's a ui-problem with the...
Is the condition "IsRegionOneOf Roman_Province" for triggering a trait possible in Rome Remastered?
I'd like to give a trait (being crowned Holy Roman Emperor) if the character spends a turn in...
Anybody knows why for the Rome Remastered version typing ö, ü and ä doesn't work anymore when renaming cities? Anybody knows a fix around this? The game definitely is able to represent these letters,...
Can you tell me? Tried to look it up in export_descr_character_traits.txt, but am struggling a bit to completely understand all the relevant triggers.
Or, is there some overview for the conditions...
Also, this might be a general solution for this specific problem. And, looking for a solution I encountered several people who seemed to have this specific problem, not just with TATW but also with...
Found the solution!
Seems like the problem was the sound files. I don't know why but since I updated to Windows 10 the game hasn't been able to acces the original sound files of M2TW. Even playing...
Thanks Mike for your quick answer! :-)
The only thing I did since it worked last was updating my Windows 7 to Windows 10. After that my MOS 1.7 installation didn't work anymore (i.e. CTD if...
Is there anything I need to take care of when playing the mod with Windows 10? Problem is that when starting a new campaign, these popups where you can choose these different scripts don't show up....
Ok, got a solution for this.
Thanks alot, that worked!!!!
Notepad++ actually even has an inbuilt function for this. From the "Edit" menu, click on "EOL Conversion" -> "Windows/Dos Format".
If someone could check it, that would be really really nice and very gentle! Here you go:

I'm not changing it in the middle of a campaign. The game won't even start when doing the above change to EDCT.
Btw: You can even change EDCT during a campaign if you allow this in the config...
Yes it does.
I get a CTD at game start when changing the following trait:
From
Trait ValerivsFlaccvs ;Patrician
Characters family, diplomat
Hidden
AntiTraits RemRomanFamilyName
Unfortunately I have very little experience with texture and model editing
I'm sorry, knew this thread but misunderstood. Didn't realize those changes where updated for R3.5. Thought it refered to the first version of 2.35A. Thanks for the Info!
Got another problem,...
Since version 2.35A R3.5 has been out since April 6 now, I'd really like to know if there is a features/changes list out there somewhere? I'm currently playing 2.35 at a pretty advanced savegame and...
Thanks, good idea! Tried it, looks okish as a first solution :thumbsup2
Still, would be gratefull for a model closer to the picture above (Preferably a bit more white/less grayish than the rebel...
The diplomat from RTW wears a toga, which I'd like to reserve for Senators only. The tunic above is intended for younger Roman nobles.
Or at least something remotely similar...
Does anybody know where to get a strat model for a "classical roman tunic?"
Like that one:
...
Which thread do you mean by "That part is in the other thread where you posted the same question."?
I got the same problem as famiglia_ducale: I do know how to change strat_models of generals,...
Hey Lusitanio, that's totally brill! I'd like to use the diplomat model, please guide me!
Btw, what strat models do you use/what's your idea behind this? Would really like to see some...
