    Heavy african spearmen + African veterans are lacking of formation attack. Elephants are killed so fast when routing.

    I love the Realism mechanics but the unit rosters are not done yet. Can you just upload the stand alone mechanics version. I want to play with Pergamon and Colchis :D

    I tested Dresen's projective impact effect, I think this is should be add to RTR but only for Javelins. This will shorten the ammo gap between javelin throwers, archers and slingers.

    yep, just read the history of thureous and see that it was used widely in Macedonia army under phillip and alexander. So that it must be at beginning of game. Hope you will unlock black sea factions...

    If I remember right when in hoplite formation, men raise their spear above their shoulder to thrust enemies easier => ignore the shield easier and deadlier than normal formation or normal attack. But...

    both are pure inexperience, I attack them at 2nd turn. If the horses don't have impact, please discount the shield armor and melee defense. Backstab from horse can't kill even 1 is ridiculous.

    Play as Carthage, ramming my Noble Horseman into the back of African noble spearman, not even 1 spearman die. Because backstab, I kill 10/120 spearman before being routed => not realistic
