Re: Krakow Bug - Orthodox Christianity

I know. It's a mistake in how religion was assigned. Basically Halych and Krakow have each other's proper religious setup. It has already been fixed, but it will not be patched until our next major...

Re: A Bone to Pick with Balancing

I don't think disagreeing is disrespectful. Let me address this properly.

The first thing is that 'dedicated melee infantry' never existed with some few exceptions. When you read material on the...

Re: A Bone to Pick with Balancing

Tankiness is based on their armour level. I'd like to see the combat between scoutatoi and sergeant crossbowmen, because scoutatoi are better units statistically off the top of my head.

    With...

The janissaries were always at the center of the Ottoman army and they were usually very effective at that. We're talking about archers and gunners. One good example is that they successfully...

You can call this stupid all you want, it appears you've been very influenced by some deep-seated myths on what medieval armies were like and how combat actually happened. The idea of mobs of...

Re: A Bone to Pick with Balancing

It should. I assume every time it ends up being like people claim it is, it's because it is a poor charge and extended combat will always be a problem for cavalry, no matter how strong, against high...

Re: A Bone to Pick with Balancing

There is no screw up here, you just assume the balancing is done in a way, when it clearly isn't. There are no 'John Wick' archers here, only high quality infantry.

    Unlike CA games, we've decided...

Funnily enough, I had talked to him a few months ago and got his agreement on the use of his music before. I am not sure if it will be used however, I am not modding the music.

Really nice designs Matt. Just want to say that from the looks of the painting that the white dots along the blue line are rivets and not a pattern. Wouldn't be much work to add on your own stuff....

To be perfectly honest, I believe there is some inheritance mechanic for the gens name, but I really haven't bothered with that so much. At the same time, since your ruling dynasty is already named,...

As far as I know, there is no way to have those spawn in any organized and appropriate fashion. It's why it is only given names that are used.
  16. Re: Medieval Kingdoms Total War: the Seljuks of Rum (and the Ottomans)

They are definitely from an old version. What worries is that they weren't replaced by the new ones or worst, someone overwrote the new ones with the old ones. I guess I'll have to look into it.
