    Re: Abysmal turn times

My turn times on the SSHIP are shorter than those on EBII and the Divide and Conquer (Win10, i7, Invidia GTX970)

  3. Re: The Great Conflicts main discussion thread. Please post here!

I actually said nothing about the mistakes, previews etc. I just wanted to say that in the modern historiography we don't take sagas at face value. They must be critically assessed to draw...
  4. Re: The Great Conflicts main discussion thread. Please post here!

Are the Norse sagas a reliable source? I don't think we take them as such anymore (but nor reject them outright, as we did in 20. century).
I don't have English literature at hand, but the Polish...

I haven't played them yet. I tried to allow them to take Skoder but how do they evolve later - I don't know. Tell us what kind of challenges have you experienced.

Looks like the family is deliberately aborting all male foetuses. It deserves a grand narrative AAR, something like the story about that family living beyond the wall in the Game of Thrones.

I've also voted for Pantikapaion, but mainly because I loved the EB1 Hayasdan challenge. In the EB2 it's a piece of cake :( (as are Pritanoi and Pergamon, the other factions I've played with delight)

This may be interesting for you. It provides the background why we don't want the player to decide on the next FL. It should be another difficulty player faces.
