astonishing map, great work
lol @the rain in main menu
I don't think so, but it sure would be awesome. I can really not go back and play an unmodded Rome I any more, even though playing it on the tablet is quite interesting.
oh, nice, this is much better than the default!
a thought about map representation: do you think it would be possible to reduce all cities to only the main building visually? so basically to remove the visual groth of cities, so they would work...
Actually, its a completely arbitrary decision that some places are allowed to build more and different buildings than others.
The whole "only some places are allowed to build walls" thing is stupid...
This is outstanding work!
8/8/8/8 sounds right for me, it always had been silly that some settlements had more slots than others
This is awesome news, good job
well, people tend to be more interested in the history of their own people, than the other end of the world, and the largest video game marked used to be a extremely anglo-saxon one
that said, Anglo...
so true.. That's the one thing that drives me nuts... I like the new politics System quite a lot, even though it needs some real balancing, but GOD DAMN WHY IS THIS NOT IN ATTILA??? It just makes me...
downloading!
so sad that i just don't have the time to appreciate this right now,
but i will at least take a short glimpse at the wonderful map
thanks a ton for making it accessible as is!
edit: oh god, the...
congratulations for your release :)
maybe this release can finally kill the myth that shogun2 is badly modable
glad to see you are still alive
one look at the map and i know why i'm still waiting for this mod
there is a mod being developed with korea in it, you just will have to wait
that's pretty much what i have been thinking
what kind of people exactly the North_Iranian populace represents i can't tell you out of my head, sorry
@Nightbringer thanks :)
sorry for lack of reply from me folks, and sorry for the celtic descriptions that are not going to be used because of brennus' being faster than i thought ;)
anyway, these descriptions were meant as...
oh, maybe it's blocked for you from that source :(
download it here: http://www.mediafire.com/download/jauecz1c59e3ck4/eb22mapbig9-populations.rar
THIS IS COMPLETE; THANKS EVERYONE FOR HELPING
original post:
as you may have seen in the recent announcement, we have included a building that represents the population of every region of our...
it's more like approaching the first hrudle ;) but none the less, getting something playable out there is great for us as well ;)
quoted because it is so easy to miss this little bit, so if you can help us, do it
in a very short while i will provide you with an opportunity to do so
awesome progress is awesome
right now it's not so much slower than med2 vanilla, this is nowhere near stainless steel 6
aware: yes
changed: partly, mostly due to the med2 engine handling this issue better
shogun2 is at least as modable as medieval 2, without many hardcoded limits of medieval 2 even
don't let the people without a clue tell you otherwise, it's the most modable total war to date
now,...
agreed mostly,
i don't know if "stand and fight" from shogun2 is still in, that one is ok too
as the guy who does the balancing, i can asure you it will ;)
and SHOULD there be major problems they will be adressed, and quickly so, since we are using Aradan's EDU-matic for balancig even major...
the map size is ok, if still a bit on the small size, it's just that there are way too few regions and settlements, but those that are there are much to big
i like how people are requesting factions from all over the world ;)
almost everybody in this thread has requested a different faction so far :D
unexpected but VERY welcome, thanks a ton guys credit where credit is due, this is awesome!
great post, i agree with everything
alright, crashes for unlocking factions other than the ones we are confirmed to get for free is more than suspicious, that's bloody obvious
javelins, especially pilums are the strongest weapons in that period of time, save maybe for a hetairoi or elephant charge
they should be damn strong
how CA implemented this IS poor though
welcome to glorious new age of completely free and self-aware people :(
ah well, youngster, i tell ya, back in the day when games had been released when they were finished *sigh*
all you had to...
the family trees had been there though, they only didn't show up
there are mods out there that show the family tree, at least for empire, not sure about NTW
baktria, they border the map and have many starting regions
depends: all the units and actual work being done in medieval 2, like the map? sure that's not portable
all the research however, that is a HUGE part of EB2, and all the descriptions for regions...
if youtubers actually will adhere to this rules, sega will loose money
it's really that simple....
you know, there is a reason why so many small companies support let's players with early acces to...
