I though we are discussing about the SIZE of the weapon, not its design. I personally don't like this design either.

It's called Chui, a typical Chinese type of mace. I saw quite a few both in museums as well as replicas displayed in pagodas, though the weapon head is rather a smooth globe than this sadistic...
TWW is, sadly, not for everybody. To enjoy it you have to deeply immerse yourself into the Warhammer universe, which, with all of its glorious twists and turns and legends and lores, would make the...
LOL, did you guys sincerely hope that CA would release two independent, mutually competing games at the same time? Even people with the vaguest idea of economy know it makes no sense.
Mark my...
LOL, it is Warhammer mate :laughter: I would hate it if all Vampire factions die on Turn 1.
Agree,I rank Attila very high on my list of best Total war games. Playing as Roman factions is however not that entertaining, as other have said, but The Last Roman DLC solved this problem nicely. My...
1. Go for all settlements with gold mines (there are several)
2. I mean, just go there
3. ???
4. Swim in money
"live in a poor country and money doesn't easily come"
bought the game for the full price while it is possible to get TWW including Chaos with half that money
is going to purchase another...
You would need enough infantry and cavalry to protect your handgunners by tying down the enemy troops. I normally concentrate handgunners on both flanks protected by cavalry so they could quickly...
No armour is strong enough against the Imperial handgunners.
As Empire: only take Reikland (Karl Franz might be emperor but his hereditary land is Reikland only). I might wage war against other Electors but should not under any circumstances occupy their...
If you look into the roadmap of FLCs it's clear that a new Orc legendary lord would be available soon. Probably together with another Grim and Grave-alike DLC.
...
Lightning attack
IMHO AI can handle various terrain pretty well: it knows the principle of occupying high ground and use forest to mask its movement. And no, like 50% of my battles are on mountainous terrain, too...
Long story short, AI cannot handle special unit formation.
I might be wrong but somehow I feel they increased the physical effects (dust, smoke etc.) with the last patch, which understandably could cause some performance drop to some people.
And yeah,...
Nah, it's not like the game is too difficult that you have to get the best of the best. If I play as Kemmler, I make my own rule that all generals should be necromancer.
Even the laziest army could build more than a dozen of ladders in less than 3 months :laughter:
Why you ask? Because it's just another feature that sounds good on paper but is absolutely terrible in game. Like many other Total war features.
Why did cavalrymen dismount to fight in real life?...
I always have an über stack of 3 steam tanks, 4 demigryph knights, 2 handgunners and the rest halberdiers for fighting quest battles, all upgraded. Dragon was brough down pretty quickly with...
After the last patch AI could now finally recruit high-tier units instead of just basic levy stuffs. Unfortunately, someone at CA with IQ above 9000 thinks that artillery is cool and give artillery...
Not that it's something new. Even in TWW, the Undead already has similar Rasing dead mechanics.
He has his own model now, uglier than before though :whistling
LOL, why the pain if you can simply sack an undefended settlement and get 10,000 golds per turn? I constantly play with negative income of -1000 but never had any problem sofar.
IMHO, the mini...
There can be several solutions for that, depending on how much effort CA is willing to invest:
- The best solution is extending the map south of the Badlands, but I fear they would only have it as a...
Middenland in the mini campaign doesn't make sense since you don't have any worthy enemy to play against. In the Grand campaign, a playable Middenland might be more interesting, if only because of...
What I miss from Attila is siege escalation. At the moment you besiege a city for a couple of turns and bam, half of the garrison force drops dead suddenly. On the other hand, even against a heavily...
My number of hours played has already catched that of Rome II and almost doubled the number with Attila, and that is only 2 months after release. So at least in my case, replayability is great...
You can exchange army leader, providing that the new general doesn't command any army already. Just go to the overview window of the current general (the window with a big portrait) and there should...
I've just finished a Beastmen long campaign today as Malagor (kind of, I forgot to recruit Khazrak, so one victory condition was still unacomplished). It was on Normal difficulty so nothing to boast...
Well, maybe your stacks were not that well hidden as you might think. I mean it's the territory of Bretonnia. When we play we are often able to see AI movement in far away provinces with no army/...
I wait until the dark moon dilemma hits to get a hefty boost of replenishment :thumbsup2
I would go all-cav with Kislev once it's playable. Perhaps with a unit or two of horse artillery :whistling:whistling:whistling
I feel your pain but sorry, you simply overreached yourself: a lot of settlements with serious PO problem (result of confederation I guess) and only 3 low-tier stacks to defend, it's like an...
Capture and hold Bechafen with a decent stack. It's a fortified city with lots of good garrisson troops, and it lies directly beneath the path of Chaos invasion. If they attack you in a single stack,...
Where was your Grimgor? At turn 19 he should have stacked enough upgrade points to increase the stats of basic units by a great deal. Together with a Waaagh army and some cunning maneuver (place your...
Halbediers fulfill the role of Empire's pikemen and what a bloody good job they do. Historically speaking, even the famous Swiss pike block had a significant portion of halbediers.
