  4. Sticky: Re: Nine Years War submod ideas thread (Update 06/08/2019)

    Noted thank you.

The Osprey book also says that the flintlock didn't come into regular service in the Austrian infantry until 1699.

Grenadiers presumably would have used them as they were an...
  5. Sticky: Re: Nine Years War submod ideas thread (Update 06/08/2019)

Thanks. However there is some disagreement on the Austrian pikes. The Osprey book on the siege of Vienna puts the date of abolition at 1699.
  6. Sticky: Re: Nine Years War submod ideas thread (Update 06/08/2019)

The French kept the pike until 1703, but in practice by then only Swiss regiments still had them by that stage. The Regiment du Roi abandoned them around 1692-3. The French began to phase them out...

Terryman did some lua scripting for me a few years back to link recruitment of certain units to certain dates. You could try asking him.

  14. Re: The latest anti-liberal rant thread (get your daily dose here)

I think liberalism is tolerant of cultural differences for the most part. Some however are a bit tetchy with conservatives. For my own part I have some libertarian political leanings, so I emphasis...

Jose, I will try to keep Spanish regiment names in their Spanish forms. I have no plans for Spanish translation in the next release, but if anyone wants to create a mod with Spanish translated...

  22. Re: Jeremy Corbyn 'figurehead for anti-semitism'

I don't buy this "anti semitic" accusation unless you equate opposition to Israel's Occupation of the territories taken in 1967 with anti-semitism. If that is true, then 150+ countries at the UN must...
  23. Sticky: Re: Nine Years War submod ideas thread
