    Re: Democracy vs. Oligarchy

When will Macedon reforms be implemented?
  6. Re: [Battle Physics] There's some weird mass stuff going on

yes which causes an issue when pursuing fleeing foes (trotting in between said bodies killing no one)
  7. Re: [Battle Physics] There's some weird mass stuff going on

yes the charge to trot (they seem to impacting the enemy a good 50ft away) is a bug from Medival 2 CA never fixed despite being called out numerous times.

I would also like to add that infantry...
  8. Generals have no command and gain no command.

Don't know if this has been addressed but generals appear not to be gaining command stars no matter how many battles they have been in (playing 2.0 Macedon). There is no gain in command even when...

Re: Not very mod friendly... or is it?

As I seem to remember way back editing Rome 1 that you had to make the unit playable for the faction you want, now in export descr unit the ownership is:

    ownership f_rome,...

I have managed to add the lines to Export descr buildings, and the game runs fine Notepad ++ is great, however the Hastati do not show up, do I have to edit something elsewhere in tandem with this?

And also, if I was to add these roman units to Macedon where could I do so?

And why is there no edit button in TWC? Is this 1989 lol?

Why did you use ROme 1 engine? It only runs on one core and thus very poorly on new systems.

It is but it is an engaging map, and very simple and easy to use and micro manage, you look at Rome 2's and stop caring after 10 mins (especially with turn times)

  29. Sticky: Re: Unlocking RomeTW Hardcoded Limits - Memory Editing

Yes you are correct, the pike phalanx was rarely a fixed mass of men. This is evident in the ancient sources as well as modern reconstruction, for the game to correctly simulate a pike phalanx it...
