    This is actually awesome. Makes making battle maps easier. I mean the terrain from the campaign map that will be used for the battle map. Have you tested it already?

    If the screenshot is correct, than it has been converted correctly. Just exit BOB. BOB doesn't shut down by itself.

    Didn't had any issue in building the startpos.esf with windows 10. Didn't do a special thing to make BOB and steam run together. First you need see that you have steam running before you start...

    Siege maps (if i remember correctly) can be custom per region. Normal battle maps not (like field battles and such...). They depend of metadata.dat and Template_map.xml when converting the campaign...

    Yes, ETW, NTW and Shogun 2 use the packfile format. Also, Shogun 2 uses the rigid_model_v2 also (mainly ships and guns), for the rest it uses the variant_part_mesh for unit parts.
