Re: Sengoku: Total War (a Shogun mod for M2TW)

    Thanks guys!

No problem. Yes, you simply copy the complete Sengoku folder (located inside Sengoku_v0.1 when you unzip) and paste it directly into the mods folder, so you get: "Medieval II...
  2. Re: How many turns of a campaign do you play before you lose interest?

I must confess that I haven't played EB2 a whole lot (not quite my cup of tea), so I can't speak about EB2 specifically, but instead I will speak about M2TW (and mods) in general. I always keep on...

Looking pretty good. And yes, the skydome and stretched textures also annoy me every now and then. I'll definitely be trying it out at some point! :thumbsup2

Re: Sengoku: Total War (a Shogun mod for M2TW)

Thanks, I'm glad you like it. :)

    As for your your suggestions:

It's not possible to have spring and autumn as seasons. In M2TW you can only have two seasons: summer and winter.

    Concerning...

Re: Sengoku: Total War (a Shogun mod for M2TW)

You can now. I had just taken the download down because there was some left-over material that was packed anyhow. It's something I forgot to delete and I felt it was a bit sloppy.

    I fixed 2 files....
  7. Re: Mod crashes when loading campaign when name of the mod's folder is changed

Ah yes. I've found a few:

    - data/descr_banners_new.xml
    - data/descr_standards.txt

All is fine if you don't use new banner models. If you do, then you have to include mods/"modname"/data etc....
  8. Mod crashes when loading campaign when name of the mod's folder is changed

Ok, so I've been working on a mod called "Sengoku - Total War" for some time now. However, there's this thing that apparently has slipped into my mod that I can't seem to pinpoint.

    My mod is...
  9. [WIP] Re: Shogun 2 in a new light - Historical Sengoku Jidai (a mod you never thought Shogun 2 needed

Oh man, I feel yah. I like them, but I sense that you might want to revisit some of the colors (red, yellow and blue). Some of them may look a bit too vivid in the game.

Ok, everything should be working now. I've fixed the issue and re-uploaded the mod. Download links have been updated.

    Sorry for the inconvenience... :ninja:

    Three years already? :o
Nice banner. Just a side note though: it says 'Sengoku Jidai', but this mod is called 'Sengoku' without the 'Jidai' part. ;)

I think it's exactly that: different from clan to clan. I don't think I'll bother with it too much. As long as it looks alright and believable. If you want there are tons of variations you could make...

Re: Sengoku: Total War (a Shogun mod for M2TW)

Actually, I don't think there's that much of a difference in scale compared to Shogun 2. What is different is the amount of detail in terms of mountain passes and rivers and overall detail.
