  1. Re: EDB editing - workaround for CTD involving building boni and building_present requirement?

I'm not sure if I understand what you mean. Wouldn't that make the alchemists_lab required for the whole building (and not all factions that use the building can construct an alchemists_lab) instead...
  2. EDB editing - workaround for CTD involving building boni and building_present requirement?

Because I really like the garrison system of newer TW titles, I tried to get something similar into BOTET by adding free upkeep slots to recruitment buildings. Unfortunately that made the campaign...
  3. Re: Adding 4TPY aging to campaign script crashes loaded games

Just dropping by to report that the recent release of version 2.0 motivated me to try again and this time it works splendidly, I can save and load as much as I want and it doesn't crash :)
    So I'm...

[Resource] Re: 12 turns per year with proper aging

Already did so, but just did again to be sure - no results outside of the 4tpy part, at least as far as Notepad++ can tell me^^
  5. Adding 4TPY aging to campaign script crashes loaded games

Since I'm a huge fan of generals that don't age away like flies, I added the 4 TPY script (by GrnEyedDvl at http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?175383-12-turns-per-year-with-proper-aging )...

[Resource] Re: 12 turns per year with proper aging

I might need to do more testing, but moving the 4tpy part to the top seemed to make it less easy to reproduce, meaning that after reloading a save, it could be 6 or 20 turns until the crash...

Just did so, though I can't tell whether it worked (the log is 3 MB smaller, at least)^^

[Resource] Re: 12 turns per year with proper aging

After a bit of dabbling with a bunch of CFG files (oddly enough, I ultimately had to edit the vanilla game one to make it work^^), here's the log's last 20 lines:

Since I'm a huge fan of generals that don't age away like flies, I added the 4 TPY script to the mod I'm currently playing (Total Vanilla Beyond) and it works fine during one session, so thanks for...

    Re: ARDA: total war released!

For all those still looking for a First Age mod, take a glance (or more) at Silmarillion: Total War, a very promising mod that's being actively developed atm :)

Poll: Re: VOTE: What do you think of Rome II

So, my impression of Rome 2 is a mixed one. Generally it's a decent game with much potential (mods, mods, mods).
The imo much too fast-paced battles (I've already had enemy armies rout with ca....
