Re: What do your usual armies look like?

    Indeed!

As in EBI, I use balanced armies whenever possible. As Pergamon, my ideal stack looked like this:

    1 FM
    2 Hippakontistai
1 Skirmisher Cav (whatever is avaible)
    3 Phalangitai
    2...

    Sticky: Re: Europa Barbarorum Bibliography

Slightly to early (Hieron II ruled from 270 to 215), but the last book of the series doesnīt look too bad. Thanks, Sarkiss!
  4. Re: Please join together with all other small bug reports into an (un)official non-game breaking bug thread

But, for example, Hypaspists and the Sacred Band both have spears and swords
  5. Re: Please join together with all other small bug reports into an (un)official non-game breaking bug thread

And the Hoplitai Epilektoi donīt have a secondary attack (no sword).
  6. Re: My proposal to the team regarding the settlement distribution on the map

One more province (Akragas-Agrigentum or Enna, maybe?) in Sicily would be awesome. There were a lot of EBI AARs with factionX-as-Syracousai (usually Epeiros or KH and I had an ******** great campaign...

Just tested your new update in a couple of custom battles, cav behaves properly now, in my opinion. Good changes and + rep!

    Re: Not enough Ancillaries

Got two in Baktra with the highest level of the academy.

The coolest ancilliary in my campaigns so far was Archimedes, got him in my Pergamon-as-Syracuse game.
  15. Re: The character trait mechanism and how to groom the next Augustus Caesar.

And with a high-level academy, youīre more likely to get ancilliaries like a doctor/physician, not unimportant for an aspiring new Ceasar. High level temples also ought to influence the probability...
