In the RSIII launcher, click "Edit RS III preferences" in the bottom left, find SHOW_BANNERS and make sure it's checked.
By the way do we still have to click the "?" button or something when the advice pops up (I forgot exactly what we had to do) to turn on all the scripts? It's been a while since I've played and I...
Anyone else just getting white unit portraits for Athens? By unit portrait I mean when you right click the unit, not unit cards
when is 2.2 going to be released?
RELEASE!
RS already uses maximum number of factions, so any additional faction would require one to be abandoned
it will be in the next release.
Right click is regular attack, ALT + Right Click is attack with secondary weapon.
I think he was asking from a gameplay perspective. can you keep previous buildings on the battle map after they've been upgraded instead of replacing them is what he meant.
Lookin forward to it mate
I want to help so this'll get released sooner gogo ;D
Doesn't even look like RTW anymore, amazing ;D
Oh god these can't come sooner <3
It's looking awesome, you guys are doing some great work. Any idea of when we can expect RSIII to be released?
You should go into your channel on twitch and enable the automatic saving of past broadcasts, so people who missed can watch your VODs =P
Yep, hard/hard is recommended.
gonna say most likely yes
Shot you a PM
how do you manage to find a 4 year old thread
The issue you described only happens when you have more than one cavalry unit (actually any unit) selected and do an attack command. This is hardcoded, and the only way to fix is by attacking the...
The success of the Roman military is mostly attributed to their ability to adapt. So if you decide you need more archers for a certain enemy, why not?
or, so long as you've already bought it, you could just torrent it and keep a clean conscious ^^

Any idea if both your CPU and your GPU aren't being nearly utilized to their potential? Like, I'm talking 30-40% CPU usage and 20% GPU with 15-20 FPS ..

even if it's not you can always just copy paste a clean install of RTW & install SPQR to it. then you have two separate directories for whatever you want to play.
man i love bridge battles ;D
when first making a group, the units will retain their original formations. you cannot change depth/length etc.
in order to change depth/length, after making the group you need to assign them a...
Hi - here is an edit to make all factions neutral to you. Some factions will always be allied: Macedon - Greece, Germans - Gauls, Seleucids - Pontus, Egypt - Carthage, Armenia - Parthia.
Also...
core clock speed matters a lot when playing Rome. according to google, your CPU runs at a base of 2 GHz, whereas other CPUs can be overclocked to 4.5+ GHz.
It is against this forum's rules to post unaltered, vanilla files of the game.
most likely, 4.6 GHz is like the average overclock for that CPU. probably just have to raise voltages a smidge and be sure to watch your temps
as ur-Lord Tedric said, since RTW only utilizes one core, the speed is everything. the CPU you're buying only has a base clock of 3.3 GHz and it is not overclockable, so that is as high as it will...

i don't believe the battle outcome has much to do with it. it's moreso influenced by your governors/regions controlled ratio, i.e. if you're short on family members while holding a lot of regions...
LOL, they're really prominent once you notice huh
mind telling me which files i need to edit? i kinda like having a dynamic faction map when it comes to differing factions
hey LT, how did you get the AI to maintain alliances with other factions? is it a script or ..?
i ask because i wonder if it's possible to set up separate alliances; greek + macedon + thrace are...
when at the campaign screen, press ESC, click the '?' button in the top right, the advisor will pop up, click 'show me how' button and you're done
