As a massive Arche Bosphorus fan returning for the new patch I had a look around and I can build the Prytaneion in some places but not others, maybe that is the issue? No idea of the reasoning but I...

As a massive Arche Bosphorus fan returning for the new patch I had a look around and I can build the Prytaneion in some places but not others, maybe that is the issue? No idea of the reasoning but I...
Hi, I had a brief discussion about the recent changes to the Bosporus with KAM and I wanted to submit a request, he didn't really say yes or no so thought I'd post the request here..
So, I have...
Great stuff, thanks to all involved in development!! :worship:
The updated database looks great, loving the mixture of new/ tweaked units available for Bosporus. Nice looking blend of cultures :thumbsup2
Loving the patch notes and beta updates - looking forward to the full release so I can check out my lovely Bosporans! Thanks all :thumbsup2
Sounds great, thanks team!! The Bosphoran Horse Archers look niiice! :thumbsup2
Fantastic, and intriguing, news! Thanks!! :thumbsup2
Hi, as a massive fan of Arche Bosporus I generally use the Bosporan Royal Cavalry for my general/ bodyguard.. but in an ideal world I would love to have the option of the same armoured horses but...
Fantastic stuff, thanks for all the hard work!! Looking forward to seeing if my beloved Arche Bosporus get some of these new naval units :whistling
Good question and helpful answers, great thread very useful!
Yea I noticed this naff change yesterday.. most mods work fine for me except for the no Public Order garrison negative submod unfortunately! I put it as the first mod to load after parts 1, 2 and 3...
Really impressive website, well done!
I may have missed it previously but that is a new resources map to me, excellent job! :thumbsup2
Sounds a great idea, thanks!!
Hopefully the resource maps/ general maps get updated as the ones in the guides are out of date..
Thank you very much to all involved, nice work!! :worship:
Can't argue with that, thanks, appreciate the straight answer! :)
Not to sound ungrateful or inpatient following this update.. but a while ago in a thread titled "Bosphoran Heavy Archers only available after Thorax Reform?" it was mentioned that Arche Bosporus...
Hi, this isn't really related to this bug but regarding the City Texts that have been mentioned.. I know they appear once when first clicked, but is there a way to re-read them? I tried the in-game...
Don’t think I got a reply :innocent:
The last mod listed, Rome TW music, causes crashes for me in singleplayer. I’d stay clear in coop, even though the music is awesome!
Sounds fantastic, thanks! Can't wait :thumbsup2
Arche Bosphorus have an easy start and can trade with anyone building up a rapid economy. After their reforms their army is fantastic and can expand anywhere relatively easily :thumbsup2
I think they do disappear over time, intended to simulate npc's getting introduced then dying over time?
Could arrange a marriage to potentially get a useful general/ admiral? Plus they can go on diplomatic missions, arrange games etc
I don't think so, Dresden said something along the lines of the faction leader can do that, but no one else. Made it kind of an incentive to let them stay there but everyone else has to be a general...
If you prefer using Steam there's a collection of submods in the Workshop, you should be able to find it if you subbed to the others that way. There are a wide range, pick and choose and see what you...
I thought that was how it used to work up until recently? Now when I press the big X the ancillary just goes back into the pile. A bit annoying and limiting really as some are awful!
What exactly do you mean by "disband"? I generally attach rubbish ones to other faction members that are just sat around in the capital doing nothing. As far as I'm aware you can't actually get rid...
There's a lot of love for the Seleucids, although I think Baktria are good too, though I can't say for myself. I enjoyed Macedon but find Arche Bosporus a bit more fun, and an easier start too!
:rofls:
Could always try someone other than Rome? I found Macedonia and now Arche Bosphorus suit my play style more, though if you got 800 turns through you probably love Rome just fine!
Hah, if only! I'm sure there are loads of mechanics the dev team would like to introduce but can't for one reason or another!
Do a quick save, then note the differences before and after if you're not sure. Can play about and see what you want them to do that way :thumbsup2
Ahhh, that's an interesting bonus, thanks!!
That would be a great additional option, it can be quite handy springing up a military ally though. I recently took a late a late game Rome by raising military allies along it's borders as I chipped...
Bit of a request, in the DeI guide it has some nice maps showing resources, AoR etc. Only thing is I’m not sure if it’s out of date.. Sarmatia as a province has changed certainly along with...
So does that mean me spending ages assigning unassigned generals/ wives/ politicians etc with e.g. "Treasurer 10% tax bonus" is a waste of time as they have no impact? Some I guess will still work...
This may well have been asked before (I did try searching..), but regarding the symbols in the province information box (e.g. season, edict, region info) .. are they mod-able? I think I read there is...
Good luck with the search tool..
I think army/ fleet cap is listed under summary when you click the faction button. Might be lower than you were expecting!
Thanks Sonny! Just a shame it's changed, it was there the other day!
You're not the only one! I got in a fair way and still couldn’t poison armies or garrisons, which apart from scouting is my main reason for investing time and effort into spies!
... I wasn't great at GCSE English :laughter:
Fair enough! Thanks for clearing that up
