  1. Re: Kingdom of Jerusalem and Cyprus - bugs spotted report

Thank you for the very specific and detailed report (the kind of report we need)

Can't do anything about it. I can remove some bars, but better more info than less right?

    Re: Missile units

We want to break the convention that archers or any soldiers using ranged weapon are squishy just because they're missile units. Archers in the medieval era were professional or hardened soldiers...

    Re: Population, Peasants, and Units

It is indeed an issue where our population script haven't been able to support recruitment from more than one population pool. Indeed, that realistically most mid-tier units such as Sergeants should...
  4. Sticky: Re: Medieval Kingdoms Total War April Build Release (With FAQ)

Understood. However, all Hispanic rosters will be fully overhauled, so we won't do minor bugfix to this faction in the next update.

We're initially set on 1TPY because to give players the opportunity to experience all the three centuries of this mod's timeframe. However, it dawns to us that Attila's family tree and characters are...

Re: How to play as Seljuks ?

Anatolia overall have this PO problem - not only for Seljuk players, but also Nicaean players too as I observed. We'll give the region some adjustments.

    Re: Recommended battle difficulty

One thing we want to emphasize is that professional archers were hardened soldiers. Just because you hold a bow doesn't mean you're weak, that's only a game convention.
    Most ranged units however are...

    Re: Alternative MKTW Menu Art

Haha, our team-members would be itchy as hell seeing a king with Sallet and plate gauntlet fighting a guy out of the 11th century. We're a bit anal about that.

    Re: Agent appearance?

Sure. Different to how they look in Attila? Certainly. Currently their variantmodel is admittedly still as an afterthought, using mainly whatever available from battlefield units.

Re: Factions plans for the future?

Aside of core units, Epirus and Trebizond hasn't been differentiated from Nicaea.

Honestly we haven't planned that far. We're just use the the same roster.
  23. Re: Why don't you just open the campaign mod to the public ?

Because the purpose of testing...is testing, not giving it to play, but to test the mod on how it plays.

    Why limited? Several reasons:

    1. We try to search for people that will give us feedback,...

Re: Factions plans for the future?

Actually, T2 and T3 Seljuks are copying Ottomans, not vice versa. So does the case with Khwarezmians with Timurids and Ayyubids with Mamluks. Turkish Beyliks will yes, uses copied Seljuk roster....

    - Malikate of Oman
    - Grand Knyazate of Vladimir-Suzdal
    - Either Galicia-Volhynia or Chernigov

Did either of them mount Camels, or only Horses?

  33. Re: Medieval Kingdoms Total War: the Seljuks of Rum (and the Ottomans)

I see. But ground force? late tier infantry? I'm talking about regular marine unit for naval roster.
  34. Re: Medieval Kingdoms Total War: the Seljuks of Rum (and the Ottomans)

Of course. All factions shall have Marines. Can't have navies without fighting marines.
Hmmm, for the Ottomans, I would name them differently - Harami Levends sounds more of unsanctioned pirates,...
