    Nice tought, but actually it is +1 to the base EDU number, wich is then multiplied by the hardcoded "unit settings" factor - wich in "huge", iirc, is exactly 1,5 - hence that behaviour.

    A nice trick can be to use a custom label to link a faction to, and then switch to default, doable in campaign_script;

    I suspect characters with custom model don't change their one when becoming Faction Leader, so it turns out we don't need such script. :P

    IIRC it is a vanilla bug, becouse the 1st attack is scripted and enemy does not have siege weapons, so it is auto-win for the defender (they can't storm in)

    Adding to what Withw said, I suggest you not to use "not" in co-ordination with "<" or ">" for it does not work as intended. Use >=, =, <= if you need.
