Aren't they already extracted? If not then I'm not sure how to edit them, you would need an unpacked version.

This, If I remember correctly all the skeleton/animation extraction tools didn't work as intended for M2TW. My guess would be:
- delete dat/idx files
- do not extract any skeletons or animations,...
I think the first thing you should do is to clean your data folder or simpy reinstall everything. It's just to make sure you don't have any modified/unused data. Then you should download and extract...
The question is - do you guys use a widescreen option? It fixes the issue with stretched screen (only for 3D view, the UI is unchanged).
It's just a game, it can't be that historical accurate :(

It's related to your graphics drivers, I had same issue on one of my laptops.
Strange issue, I'm using win10 too without any problems btw. Are you on laptop?
It will be included in 2.2c. The descr_geography.txt file still causes the main issue of the hilly mountains but it should be fixed today as well (thanks to xHolyCrusader).
Paste this into your Medieval II Total War\mods\ebii\data\world\maps folder and delete map.rwm. Let me know if it helps. (You will have to start new campaign)...

Replacing and remodelling each model would take only a little bit less time than rebuilding the whole settlement from scratch :laughter:
Thanks for reporting. CTD issue is common in 2.2b for some reason, we're investigating it.
Some walls have this issue for some reason, if they get stuck on a ladder, simply tell them to go inside the city.
Sweboz and Lugians use East_European accent which is not completed yet.
Deleting mods/ebii folder will be enough. Then install EB2.2b.

I'm affraid it would require rebuilding the walls from scratch.
Ptolemaic settlements were included before by mistake, there were bugs with them. Also they look rather weird ;)
I can't find this problem in Huge Western Greek settlement, no idea where it is. Also, to find all these issues one will have to destroy every single wall in every single city model for every single...
No, do not use any old fixes. It's hard to find bugs like that, DBM had a :wub:load of them. You can test all the settlements if you want and give me a list.
Start the game in windowed, borderless mode and set your game resolution to 2560x1440. Check if "widescreen" option is selected too.

As I'm not home atm and have some hard time in rl I may not do this for the next patch, but it will be fixed in the future. Just wanted to let you know.
No, my script will not work with gimp. However you can follow the tutorial to get a render of some unit and then edit it manually.

You should see 2.2a in the menu screen. The patch goes into ebii folder (overwrite files)

Go to ebii.cfg and change show_hud_date = 1 to show_hud_date = true. Let me know if it fixes the issue.
Actually there are only 170 entries left in EDU, that means we're using 330 unit slots atm.
