    Sticky: Re: Tweeting politics.

Yeah, but you still need hunting permit. I'm not aware of specifics for US, but I do not think it's as simple as a phone call.
It's a little different with automatics and such big targets. Hogs have...

    Sticky: Re: Tweeting politics.

I'd say there are three main reasons.

One, if you give thousands of rednecks a blanket pass, someone will get shot.
Two, hogs are surprisingly tough and quick to anger. I don't think that your...
  5. Poll: Re: Illegal immigration to the US deal a heavy blow.

Do you have any sources for that? The article suggested that the targets were the brokers, not the students themselves. If they were though...why?

    Re: Identify that Tank/Ship/Plane/Artillery etc

Come on...I'll even give you another hint, but since it's been less than a week from last hint, it'll be somewhat cryptic.

    Moo Moo.
  7. Poll: Re: Illegal immigration to the US deal a heavy blow.

I'm missing a lot of information here. Who were the arrested, were they the real culprits or just the middlemen? Did the students know they're getting fake visa?

    Still, they've used a thousand...

Re: Is there anything left of The Left?

Yep, because context suddenly became a problem for you, since I argued straight against the most likely line of reasoning that you were going to use. Especially since you've resorted to ad hominem,...

Re: Is there anything left of The Left?

Oh, trying to dodge by taking own quotes out of context. How unoriginal.

Your question, in context as a response to Alwyn's leading question, can only be interpreted as statement that you do not...

That "real communism was never tried" BS argument again?

Besides the fact that the "communist utopia" is, in fact, dystopic scenario, the damage was done by the attempted transition to communism...

    Re: 'Star Wars' discussions

After E4, I have to agree. It seems they're not going for something original, but they're building the show on tropes for some light-hearted amusement. And doing surprisingly good job with that.

    Re: EB-Twitter updates Discussion

Probably a falarica. That could be ~1.8-2m in length, which is about right for heavy and dual-purpose javelins like falarica, soliferrum, pilum or angon.

A week has passed with no attempt.

First hint. It was supposed to be a heavy fighter, with heavy armament for the period.

  20. Re: Defecting Chinese spy offers information trove to Australian government

  24. Re: My mom's pumpkin pie is better than your mom's pumpkin pie, and there's nothing you can do about it.

Honestly, never had that either. We eat different members of Cucurbitaceae here. But in my experience, they're rather bland, except for watermelons.
  25. Re: My mom's pumpkin pie is better than your mom's pumpkin pie, and there's nothing you can do about it.

How does it taste anyway? I never had it. But then, I'm from the Old World. We have much better things to eat.
