Were they trying to hit a unit directly in front of them? If it's close the trajectory could be like that.
or play one of the starting factions through the short campaign?
This is where my Templar Headquarters is as well, I went on one crusade to... London of all places.
In my Scots campaign I've only seen one inquisitor and it wasn't in my lands.
When I hit print screen it puts the screen shots in a folder in the medieval 2 folder on your computer, as tga files.
I can't tell you what the exact path is however as I am at work.
I did this last night on my HRE campaign. It seems to work really well.
^^^ Thats the answer for your videos problem.
That is funny! I was just talking about how football should not be allowed this morning! heh
Unfortunately I do not have a tremendous amount of time to read through this thread and see if this has been posted or not so if this has already been addressed, I apologize.
I am soon going to...
The one time this happened to me, I had not yet sent anyone through the breach in the wall, once inside I'm fairly certain that I've run out of arty ammo before and had no other units capable of...
I am playing as the Scots and after running the english pigdogs nearly off the map, their 3 remaining regions keep pumping out assassins and sending them my way. Every turn for about the last 15 I...
So far for me, I've stayed on good terms with the Pope. I only attack when the victim is excommunicated, and I build lots of churches and have a lot of priests running about.
I'd like to answer this question as well. I bought RTW and played a few custom battles and then moved onto something else that caught my interest (never was a fan of the Roman stuff). I then bought...
I play 1:1 and I think it's good this way.
Maybe it would be a 0.25 timescale??
I've not gotten close enough to tell if they fall to the ground, but I've seen men on walls get tossed into the air when the wall crumbles or a lucky hit with artillery, and I've also seen dead...
Sweet, I'll definately be paying attention to this thread.
That is a pretty neat idea for playing a campaign. Being a TW noob (and mostly RTS noob) I've never heard of 'Succession' games.
You would think that would be an act of war yes. Could be a bug, could just be something missed in the coding. Might be working as designed unfortunately.
In my campaign, the nobles do really well usually.
If you've ever seen a scot warrior under the influence of jelly babies you'd understand why!
I would imagine that if the reinforcement was allied with the attacker and just nuetral with you, that it would attack along with it's ally.
+1
as far as the effectiveness of peasant archers vs other archer units, this is my opinion being a person fond of shooting archery:
In a volly it could be possible for a peasant unit to be as...
This was in another thread somewhere. I believe it was determined that they are the names of devlopers. Check the credits in the back of the game manual.
Hahaha!
I want this too!
The real key to using archers is use them for what they are intended. Support.
I had one half stack (including a pretty good general) go rebel, and they weren't even engaged in combat, just moving from a city to the coast to hop on a boat for the crusades!
This sounds about right.
From what I've seen/tested, archer units are as effective as they need to be.
xbows!
I forgot about them.
They are bloody deadly.
A volley of arrows is by no means accurate. The arrows only come down in a general area and are not aimed at any one specific person. From what I've seen in this game volleys are portrayed fairly...
Archers can be deadly effective, if you give them enough time to whittle down the opposing force.
Simply for ammuse ment I put a few treb units and a few archer units up on a hill against almost...
I also need a mod to make one of my priests "Brother Maynard" while we're at it!
Maybe so =P
Maybe I am just really trying to rationalize having Ireland in game. lol
I suppose what I'm trying to say is Scotland was pretty much at war with itself, many of the clans were trying to accomplish their own thing and with it being this way I don't see it being a 'solid'...
This is very true, but the same holds for the Scots really, it wasn't ONE kingdom it was a bunch of tribes attempting to unite for the longest time - and they are in game - so might as well give us...
"Killing Pockets" ftw!
I've only seen 2 in my Scots campaign, one of my own and one English one.
I've not seen this yet so I'm not sure this is correct, but the Galloglas (Galloglaich)are merc units in the game?
While being a merc unit from Scotland, they were regularly employed in Irish...
