    Re: The best unit(s)

Hoplitai are for me one of the best units. Its not the best by raw power, but its solid heavy line infantry, very available without great colonial investments and with free upkeep to boot. Their only...
  2. Re: Getting rid of the family tree. Will it break anything?

KH also had it. The problem was basically teutonic tree meant a nerf to those factions, exacerbating the problems that the standard familiy tree already had. Like the problem with adoptions/children...

Re: Epistateia epi Hellenas (KH) broken

Yeah. Basically that building is an hellenic adminsitration for a palce that doesnt have a polis (thus the requirement of it been quite hellenized).

Anywhere with a poleis KH puts their main line,...

    Re: Differences Between Macedonians?

On question on this. Is there any plans to change where they suffer the public order maluses? Right now I think they only avoid it on Pergamon itself. I dont know if this should at least be extended...

    Re: Differences Between Macedonians?

If I remember from asking. Pergamon isnt really a Makedonian successor in the pure term. So they lack several of the agema troops but their Hegemon like approach which gave locals more importance in...

Re: Epirus - Tactical Advice Required

Bear in mind that the standard hoplite unit its a bit of an exceptional unit which can make its performance swing a lot.

I dont know about the Liby-Phoenicians. Those 4 provinces are the core of Carthage and you are talking with fully developped settlements well past what carthage reached historically. Liby-Phoenicians...

I see. I guess it could make sense, and after all as you said its kind of a limitation we have. But still, I dont feel like phalanxes were really set aside that much at the date. Past the reform...

    Re: Any hints for Carthage?

For early conquest, depends on how rushy yo uwant to be, specially with the Romans and Numidians. Even for more controlled expansion I would suggest to at least take the future Carthago Nova to start...

Sticky: Re: Announcement: Europa Barbarorum II 2.35 released!

Yeah. Thats the thing I understand of the change. You cant really get enough "makedonians" to get what would usually be a level 3 colony in those palces. You are capped at 2. The thing is that...
  15. Re: Young Carthaginian FMs getting wealthy pretty much as soon as they come of age. Strange?

I have only played a carthaginian campaign worthy of been called such. What I noticed is that it varies. I think there is people that start wealthier, I dont know if the fathers wealth is tracked in...

Sticky: Re: Announcement: Europa Barbarorum II 2.35 released!

Re: Areuakoi traits, ancillaries and tips?

Damn, seems like Arevaci are one of those factions with traits that can really cripple your FM.

At least that one also got the good one and may compensate a bit.

I really love all the falvour...
  19. Re: Radically improved game experience(IdillaMZ Submod)

  20. Re: Radically improved game experience(IdillaMZ Submod)

  30. Re: Radically improved game experience(IdillaMZ Submod)
