    That would be a very cool feature, one of the things that should be fixed in the game is how easily accessible cannons are. This feature would give additional layer to the game.

    It will be emergent for the late campaign, we added those new factions because few others were removed or merged from the early campaign.

    Late campaign will have a redesigned campaign map with Ottoman provinces receiving considerable cut.

    There will be several new factions with modified rosters based on old ones, others with brand new units. Don't forget that we have a bunch of late game units...

    Ottomans can choke around gallipoli but once they get hold of Adrianople they tend to snowball in my campaigns.

    Personally i like to bait enemies outside of the city walls, to fight the field battles if possible rather than sieges. Cavalry, even the light one, is a great force multiplier, and lack of walls...

    Its linked to internal game mechanics, you would have to counteract this with a counter script. Which imho wouldn't be worth it.

    It's a real problem, Antiokhos. We noticed it also in our playthroughs: our traits offered so many buffs that generals accumulated stars very very fast. We tried to tone it down a bit.

    Always build trade related buildings(ports, markets, roads and foreigner quarters) first, population growth (farming) is of secondary importance.

    It is not a bug. Some factions have their generals spawned to ensure survival. In future version there will be a hospitallier castle there, Kolossi, so generals will have somewhere to retreat.
