Ah yes, and here it is. By the way, that anticlerical screed doesn't link to the actual report, but to another article from another rag, which doesn't link the report either.
Is it even self-aware?...
Do you mean the historical research would be difficult? Any real history lover would want to play a game in a location they don't know much about, if the game at least looked like some love went...
Not to be rude, but why not do it yourself then? Nobody's really complaining about horse size except here, and if izzi's already done it for fots, there's no need to redo his work. Just use his...
Working with M2 gives you a larger map scale.
If that's all: https://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?774124-Sengoku-Total-War-(a-Shogun-mod-for-M2TW)
Interesting. I would have assumed the Napoleon horses were bigger than S2, and the riders would need to be tweaked to sit properly.
Both Fourstrider's Japan and Events and Dilemmas: Courtly Matters have good scripting, but Shogun 2 will never be a grand strategy game.
That would be an awful lot of work to ask one person.
I'm afraid my answer is too simple for the sophists. The West is the Church, to the extent Western Christianity (so the Catholic Church) permeates a culture. Nations, individuals, states only belong...
Yeah, MoSS is a huge mess, I don't know how people play it. Anyway, Fourstrider's scripts are pretty cool, such as a general becomes governor of a province if he's left in the town for a couple...
What it lacks in strategy, S2 compensates in tactics. Replay wise, the strategy map dull, but there's no fat no fluff in the way. It isn't a grand strategy game.
The Church.
Well, I can't agree on region count, but least sieges won't be repetitive. He's a really good map maker.
Out of curiosity, I know you're busy, but have you played any of Fourstrider's campaign? I...
What makes it better than Attila? Its only $13 but that's almost half a tank of gas for me.
Yes. The Rome 2 hypetrain passed warp and went to plaid, but Warham is a full-blown death cult all to itself. The fans of GW properties are something all together stranger than fiction.
I just...
I think their DLC model is really underhanded, and I blame SEGA not CA. I don't think a competitor will change their direction.
You don't get into Shogun 2, this game gets into you.
Also, Shinsengumi for Boshin War, and The Revolutionary for the Sengoku-Edo period.
The Revolutionary is a pointed and political movie,...
Spire of Sorcery. I can't believe its almost here.
If you do rearrange the map, please consider not going crazy like the Japan Extended mod. The vanilla regions and castle placement are spot-on for the scale of the map, adding more castles just makes...
Yeah, that was concerning news, but flash is packaged with the game anyway, so like izzi says we aren't actually using the web. I'll know in a few hours.:whistling
Great stuff, a real improvement over Vastator. I look forward to it OP.
Thanks for the research, I had sent it to some family.
For what its worth, Christmas is twelve days long. In those twelve days are the octave, the eight days between Christ's birth and his...
Whatever they learn from 40k could help for modern tactics games. Battles are so quick as it is, I'd like to see them tackle mixed units.
Do other stuff.
I've given up on this one. I'm sure the solution's a simple one, but I've moved on to other parts of the game. No sense in spending all my free time modding instead of playing. Feel free to post, on...
@Sar1n play Battle Brothers. Its a low fantasy tactical rpg, and it should run on your laptop. There's also Jagged Alliance 2, which has an 80s action movie theme in a tactical rpg. Both are turn...
I was browsing my steam library and found King Arthur 2. Its a strategy rpg with real-time battles like Total War. I'm going to give it a spin, has anybody here played it? I don't usually go for...
Villains are godless heathens and haters of our lord Jesus. They hate the creator of everything and by extension his creation. None of the good they do will ever align with the will of God, so they...
Hello, I've encountered a bug while tweaking the sashimono. I cut banners from one atlas and pasted them over banners in another atlas. Then I saved the atlases in dds format. As far as I know,...
I like this idea, but I think Three Kingdoms is the game that did it. I also have to give CA credit for developing diplomacy, from what was basically 20 years of the same thing. Experimenting on...
Thank you for clicking.
I'm trying to make a new atlas of Sengoku 2 flags, and I've hit a wall. Those of you with textures experience probably know what I've done wrong, but I'll explain the steps...
Medieval, Rome, Shogun 2, Empire.
I don't follow the youtubes or gaming gossip as a rule, but I don't need to if I want to review the series' trajectory, or comment on what I've seen that's kept me aloof since Rome 2 dropped. New CA...
