I remember a thread exactly like this about rome II, seems every new game is the least historic game they have ever made since the last.
And I don't even care, games fun and i like the unique...
I get this error:
[Universal Mod Launcher by Guan Ziyang - Copyright 2014] started on 01/22/2015 Thu 16:49:19.55]
[16:49:19.55] ERROR - Medieval II installation (Medieval2.exe or Kingdoms.exe)...
I tried using http://www.twcenter.net/forums/showthread.php?661279 but when i run that it gives me an error that Medival2.exe or kingdoms.exe are not found in my users folder.
Looks really cool, I like the Sisters of sigmar in Mordenheim the best so adding these units would be sweet.
so it seems people usually go with their family geners and get civil war. My question is, what if i have mostly been using other houses generals? Before the patch I did this with seemingly no...
Ultra, that single setting comes before any other video settings IMO, turn down everything else if you have to in order to get ultra to work.
Well, the art that many of what our ideas of what an amazon is are, depict amazons with sort of greek style helmets with crests, the armor seems to vary from picture to picture, some showing greek...
The reason there are mods is for fantasy like TATW, not for a war game based in 271 BC. Not for bee catapults, snake hurlers, special unit magic abilities, petro chemical industry hale bales, instant...
Personally, I don't try to rationalize them, they probably didn't exist, and I like them and want more in the game. CA has said that their version of history is more of a hollywood depiction than a...
Bronze, that's what i meant, not copper.
I know, i'd like a greek style copper armor for female hoplites though.
Actually after all the patches, the AI is pretty good now. It's at least at the level that the AI was in rome 1, that is to say decent but still can derp now and then.
Look good but i'd rather have a dedicated amazon hoplite melee unit that doesnt sacrifice other stats for the ability to use a bow, and if it doesn't than that sounds pretty OP.
I'd love to see...
Like a lot of our recounts of history from the BC time periods, its almost all 2nd hand. If you discount Baudica for this reason, than you can also discount a lot of what we think we know about...
Even if I didn't love this DLC, which I do, it would have been worth it if for nothing else than to just see the rage it has caused all the people that think CA should make the game to their own...
I also hate the new camera, i play zoomed in a lot and the new fade breaks the immersion, It should only fade if your camera is at a spot where it would actually be clipping through the unit.
So I'm playing sparta in my current campaign and originally I had no problems when I was playing Sparta back when the game released.
Sparta was my first campaign so at the time I didn't think they...
And now im seeing that in battles those units appear to be invisible, must need to be updated somehow for the new DLCs.
When i try using this, all of the unit cards for DLC units get a generic roman boat unit card.
IDK if the author is still around but i just found a bug where the onna bushi infantry do not have any upkeep.
I manually went in and edited it to 150 like all the other samurai units with pack...
this has been a sticky in the technical help forum for a long time, this is not a new fix.
First, you default to, "oh you must be terrible." Great way to start a response.
Second, i already know you have to reissue the order, I'm not completely retarded. Your ship only actually...
Land combat has seen many patches and fixes to make it actually good aside from siege battles. Navel combat on the other hand, seems to have been largely ignored by patches.
In it's current state,...
would love a version that would be balanced for radius battle mod.
only the FLC is out, pirates and raiders is not out yet.
It's beta for a reason guys, if you don't want these kind of issues, don't opt-in for the beta.
I never said they existed, we were asked what DLC we want, I answered.
Also i like how everybody links that video like that guys insights equate to indisputable proof that amazons never existed....
Amazon faction, or a unit pack at least, modders can make a faction if the models are there.
I did mostly auto-resolve them until radius balanced them in his battle mod, and i managed to get higher tier naval ships, now I can use my large assault ships and insta-kill transports in a single...
Run mod manager as administrator?
Is there a simple way of using PFM to revert the changes to the spartan units shields?
bronze i meant, whatever, its besides the point.
Hi, so I finally got it to work, apparently I had to be running the mod manager as administrator.
I love what you did with the helmets and the capes and everything. I am using 1.2 uniform and it...
I guess realistic might not have been the right word, but rather something that feels like it fits into the game as if it belongs, without any unique and new tech that is specific only to that...
I put it in my data folder yes and it was checked in the mod manager and still have those cone helmets even without any other mods.
I can't seem to get this to work, I tried activating with the mod manager, i tried removing all other mods i have and still it would not work.
Sounds interesting, especially since i fully expect CA to put in at least one Amazon unit via DLC, hopefully more than one, that an entire faction could be made out of.
The only thing is, for me,...
I'm about pretty sure this isn't possible.
Shortening the list of factions is probably the only way to shorten the turn time.
I'm ok with this though, I'm used to playing modded R1 and M2 that...
