Ah I see, thank you sir! Much appreciated ^_^
Has this been asked here before? I apologise if it has. Does someone know how Amazon is going to handle the pre-release for Norsca from pre-orders of Warhammer II?
The Serpent God edition of Total Warhammer II states that it contains a " 'Saurus Blade' USB with Black Library E-Books ", anyone have an ideas as to which e-books this refers to? Just Lizardmen?
Can only assume it's hard to affect the actual battle mechanics in mp independantly of sp.
As I said, it's definately not lazy, but the VC campaign remains just as easy as before :/ the issue is that it makes your lords just feel underwhelming when compared to their old selves. For...
I wouldn't call it lazy, just a bit hamfisted.
Well, it's rather obvious in this particular thread that it has pissed off some players. As for casting regen over and over, when that stops being effective after 2-3 casts in total your 'immortal'...
Makes things like the Carstein Ring useless. Vlad will reach his regen cap long before he reaches <20% health if you have Blood Drinker equipped. But on the whole (in campaign) it makes all your VC...
Do you think it's possible to erase bad traits simply by completing enough actions capable of producing good traits?
Trouble is, sometimes you may not realise immediately :/
Well at least I'm not the only one who thought this change was detrimental to the campaign.
I hate it when my Lords randomly get bad traits like strict (if they're empire) or punter (if they're undead) etc. Some I use mainly as mobile garrisons so I don't mind so much, but if Franz or...
This a mod on steam workshop? Or on here?
Personally I really dislike this change, though it may be better for the game's balance, it takes too much away from the 'everliving' aesthetic of the vampires and their armies in the campaign mode.
Oh ok thanks, I'll definitely give Vampire Wars a go.
This discussion has got very complex, but a lot of the ideas seemed workable. Whether they're to technically ambitious is down to CA, but I can't imagine it being impossible to balance and implement...
Can they not cross them via flying mounts?
Though you do have a good point, the enemy will also have access to these abilities too.
Why can't they be near rivers?
What if only the Lord was allowed to engage in combat?
Edit: say if non unique mounts such as warhorse, boar, giant spider etc. could be killed, perhaps extend that to normal knights too? (x% chance...
Maybe not go as far as allowing units of knights to dismount, but I definitely feel that the incorporation of this option would mean I'd use Khazrak 's chariot more often, as well as the boar mounts...
At least it had a horn of sorts :/
Thanks :)
I think what fascinates me about evil is just how OP some characters become.
Right well I'm gonna tear through those just as soon as I finish the series I'm currently reading (Masters of Rome by Colleen McCullough)
That still does sound good enough to warrant a full fledged dlc, if CA are allowed to is another matter though. Also, that Narwhal ship does look very cool, but not very.. um.. 'cloven'..
Another good point
I would like to have the man himself, lead one of my armies.
Is there any way to reliably do this? Gifts of gold? Recruiting loads of stacks of cheap troops to inflate you power level?
Title explains all, it was about ~100MB in size.
Any idea if it's within modding capability?
I just feel it would be be a good idea to allow any mounted Lords such as; Karl Franz, Mannfred, Kazhrak etc to dismount in battles and fight on foot if they so wish. Imagine having Deathclaw and...
Wait so they actually have an official army book? Plus what you've said about the guys on Reddit does make this seem very likely, though I imagine it'll be released after Bretonnia. Btw what's this...
The two factions I find the most interesting are the Vampire Counts and the Empire, although I would also like to read about Nagash too.
Hi all, I'm interested in starting a Warhammer (fantasy) book, just wondering if there's a definitive series/author to start with.
Well it still sounds like a fresh challenge :)
Well it looks like we'll just have to be satisfied by mods. The one mentioned earlier by Char Aznable seems very promising, I'm gonna give it a try myself. I fancy a more challenging grand campaign...
Maybe they'll be more lenient with Total War? It does make them a lot of money right?
