Boo this man!
Is that one Turkish archer's clothing supposed to be that blue? Seems a bit intense! (the guy at front)
Other than that these look amazing!
Wow, and I was just sat here thinking this would fall on deaf ears! This is good. :thumbsup2
Very nice units, makes me more excited for 1.1 by the minute! :D
But I do agree that the filters are a bit overdone
This looks excellent.
Yup, also done. I hope this works out, I've been following the progress of this mod for a while and it hurts to see progress impeded! No matter how small the matter :D
This looks rather good.
Was it not possible to use the face models from Attila? Hate to be the naysayer, but I always kinda hated the lumpy and limited Rome II faces.
Absurdly excellent. They keep getting better! One question though - is the Vergina sun icon in the family tree entirely appropriate for all Greek factions? For successor states perhaps, but I dunno...
Very nice, the armours look so much better without that weird bloomy look :thumbsup2
I think it'll look stupid if it's too common, but if it occurs infrequently enough I'm okay with it. And if not then hopefully someone will mod it in the right direction! (if possible, ofc)
EDIT:...
Loving the Vomit.
Very nice, good job :D
Wow. Very very good!
A few (minor) critiques if I may:
1)There are a few texture seam issues appearing on some of the UI, like this one. I imagine this has already been noticed, but it can't...
Totally agree with Aenima here, I don't understand CA's motive here at all. Now that they've changed the AI enough so that it can at use siege equipment this last resort addition is rather...
Yup Garensterz I've had the same problem too. About 20 or so of my soldiers managed to get into the fort when this happend but the rest were stuck at the open gate doing no damage at all...
I'm liking the sound of this - the increased maintenance costs should compete nicely with army upkeep, which may lead to an interesting choice between military and cultural development.
Maybe I'm wrong (I wasn't exactly looking out for theses features when playing) but these ones don't seem right. Characters only age until they come of age and then they stay the same, though I'm...
Is it just me or does this make the water look pitch black in deep areas and purplish nearer the coast? It may be the intended effect, but I think this makes everything look really cold - too much so...
That is an excellent looking map :D
This is a very attractive modding project. It would be a damn shame if someone were to set fire to it.
I think question 17 doesn't have any way of rating post-patch rome 2 out of 10?
Ah, I was wondering what was causing this in my load order. If this is correct, then yes I too would like a version with this feature returned.
This is good. I will play with it.
The reactions from people in this thread suggest that this is something that varies with people's systems, but I find myself agreeing with OP. The shadows flicker a lot on movement for me, 4xAA just...
I'll be happy if the melee damage done when attacking gates is moddable.
Good luck, I like the idea of this mod as well. :)
I'd like them to redo the agent skill trees. Although I like the fact that abilities need to be unlocked now, there doesn't seem to be any option for specialisation in any particular ability. Almost...
Wow, got from 30ish fps to 40fps from doing this. I used the ingame benchmark. This makes me hopeful that a patch will be released rolling out similar performance boosts. (assuming my fps boost...
Sorry I wasn't being too clear there. I think (it might be placebo) certain features looked anti aliased (mainly on soldier models), but there were many features (horizons, spears etc) that were not....
I thought so too, but after a few comparison's on the battle map I found that something changes (general bluriness), but it's NO WAY NEAR the way 4x AA should look. Spear poles, horizons, and such...
Yeah 4x AA doesn't appear to be working for me either.
I agree with the things being said right here. Especially the stuff about the hideous Rome II and Attila coastlines, but at least we can change that now (I think).
I reckon there should be a community project dedicated to renovating the campaign map and corresponding battle maps, perhaps with the ultimate goal of having unique cities for each settlement, as...
Does anybody have any idea as to the compatibility of campaign and battle map mods? As in, would a mod that effects one individual campaign tile be compatible with one that effects a totally...
I think I agree, and in my opinion it's a major failure on the part of CA. It does no good for their reputation to keep releasing 'fixed' versions of other games that obviously won't be as popular...
I'm just gonna ignore this confusing debate to say that I for one am rather pleased with these new tools for modding :)
Thanks, now I'll never be able to unsee those improperly set helmets :P
Bloody hell that's lovely.
Oh God I hope this is possible.
