I can't activate the mod through the mod launcher without it crashing. Everything else works fine.

I'm pretty sure that problem actually has to do with alt tabbing the game. If you're playing on the steam version, you can use the web browser in the steam overlay.

I'm seconding this. If the teutonic system is broken, then go back to the regular family tree system for now and return to the teutonic system some time down the track since it is a good idea.
