    You misunderstood me. At the moment the re-emergence mechanic triggers, the settlement in question has to be Rebel-controlled, or it won't work.

    Re-emergence only happens in Rebel-held settlements (and annoyingly whichever one happens to have the lowest public order at the time). That would prevent re-emergence altogether.

    You'll mess up recruitment if you add hidden_resources to settlements at random. It's used to distinguish some settlements from others in the code in the EDB.

    Anywhere with a scripted rename will be set to that name, regardless of what you choose to name it. Byzantion is one of the settlements on that long list.

    Native colonies have been completely re-written in the patch. There's a more tangible benefit of upgrading, they go from 6 to 8 to 12 point pools. It does mean there's less in the first tier, but...

    We don't use PSFs in greater numbers because it messes with the CAI. The AI thinks they're proper settlements and focuses on them to the exclusion of actually defending their proper settlements.
