CoW has elf ballistae which deal no damage to walls as well.
Mind you, that will also make them unable to damage wooden fortifications or other siege engines.

Everything the High Elves yell in the game seems to come from this exact page, which itself is a part of some WHFRP supplement I believe.
I haven't played as the Druchii...
Higher battle difficulty gives AI flat combat bonuses, higher campaign difficulty gives AI flat campaign bonuses. I don't know exactly how big they are.
It's hard to find a game which doesn't do...
Who could Norsca even get from a lore standpoint?
I would expect an Estalia + Tilea + Dogs of War pack sometime in the future.
I found a working torrent download for 3.2.
Just in case I'm posting a magnet link too.
I put a spy in a city if the unrest is above 20-25%, for counter-intelligence.
Also the building browser is your friend.
Long term bonus and tariffs are two different things AFAIK. Tariffs are more like generic trade income you earn no matter what you export.
Ghorst gives his entire army poisoned attacks. That's pretty good.
If the next installment features the New World (and it almost certainly does), naval combat is all but guaranteed to be in. Or you could get Man O' War.
I'd be surprised if the Southlands were ever featured in the game to any larger extent. There are few places in the Warhammer World more neglected when it comes to lore. Very little beyond that map,...
Your pictures don't show up.
I've seen at least two Dwarf kings who mistrusted Dwarfs.
You must mean Ariel. End Times weirdness aside, Alarielle is the Everqueen of Avelorn in Ulthuan.
I was considering confederating Mannfred as von Carsteins, but he had the wonderful idea of...
How does it work in tabletop?
Lots of nifty mechanics. Looks like it'll be fun to play.
Hopefully the accompanying update will fix the whole Elf Times issue and other factional imbalances.
Some monstrous units, like dragons or certain demons, are broken and cause crashes. If any of those are involved, they might be the reason.
It might be anything really. You can always type...
Firearms generally hit harder, but need a clear line of sight to fire. Bows and crossbows can fire over most obstacles and can just safely sit behind infantry, but deal less damage, especially to...
Keep in mind that generally not all the trade goods produced will end up sold, unless you don't produce much to begin with or have a ton of trade agreements. And the latter becomes quite difficult as...
Knights Panther would be slightly faster than the others, because their horses are partially descended from Arabyan etc. stock. The Black Guard of Morr could be more effective against undead.
What...
Some Norse tribes worship the Four in more indistinct ways, especially farther south. They have a pantheon consisting of a god of war, of magic and mutations, of life and death and of passion or...
It feels kind of strange when an Orc Boy takes a bolt to the ankle and does that little jump before falling on the ground.
I keep getting crashes while loading battles in winter landscapes and nowhere else. Things run fine when I switch to DX11, but some trees look weird. I might take a screenshot later.
I'm getting a few more FPS, but there was also a crash while loading a battle and the water went partially black for a moment during the AI's turn.
My GPU. Curiously not on CA's list.
Dwarven artillery is quite useful for weakening the most powerful enemy troops before they engage your forces in close combat. If the grudgebringers and cannons keep firing for the whole battle -...
Hang on, I have an idea. I only remembered now.
Are you using Notepad to modify the files? Restore backups and try Notepad++ instead. There might be an encoding problem.
I've seen the AI move a stack next to my force and attack with another quite routinely. My army was extremely strong, however - the usual force ratio against a single full AI stack there was 3:2 at...
What about reverting one change at a time to see which exact one causes problems, starting with the more recent ones?
There seems to be something strange going on with 1.6 and modifying files. I...
That's the kind of an error where the logs say nothing helpful, I'm afraid. And which pops up essentially at random for no apparent reason.
The best I can come up with is advancing a bit in the...
I don't have 1.6 installed at the moment, sorry. I'm running a modified EDU under 1.51 without issues. Maybe the update introduced something, but what could it be and why would it have such an effect...
Most EDU changes are, or at least should be save-compatible. What are you trying to do?
You'd need to add a copycat unit without the general attribute. I think that requires messing with modeldb, I don't know much about that. There are tutorials, unless you already know how to do it.
Thorgrim's dwarfs for the first try. I want some heavy gunfire.
Depending on where you live local prices may be different. A bit of research might save you some money.
Event counters are in campaign_script.txt found in data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign, and unit costs in export_descr_units. The max pool would be the third number here, unless it's tied to...
The hawk-like wings look fantastic. The pegasi are all identical, but most likely there will be more variety.
I sure hope that's not how the ground is going to look like, though.
You can always run a few test custom battles and see if anything is off.
I faced Knights of Manann when pacifying heretics in Nordland (kind of a weird situation, now that I think about it) and...
I don't remember the exact numbers, but brynduraz and warpstone trading brings in profits in the four-digit range per merchant after they get a few skill points. Less if you're closer, and having a...
That reminds me of my High Elf campaigns. You start with 50 000 gold, it runs out in a year or so and you only get out of the red shortly before Archaon shows up. So I'd say it's fairly normal.
