    In the GEM settings there are 2 settings towards the bottom. They are #define gHFlInt and #define gHFlThresh. I personally cut them right in half.

    Delete anything that has sweet fx in the name, shader.fx, dxdgi.dll,d3d9.dll and the GEM_settings.txt.
