they can already happen at an earlier date. if you look on the guide you'll see that the date for the autotrigger is what is considered to be more or less the historical date for the change in...
yes ofc it was just a suggestion, maybe for future releases...
another nice addition would be regarding armour upgrades, but i dont know if it is possible at all through the EOP. since the ai cannot retrain units it means that once a certain armour upgrade...
Yes ofc, at least on my part.
Did we at least get them right among all the names we threw?
Glad that you liked the idea! It's good that the system is there for the player too, albeit with severe restrictions, as you said. i must say that as much as the auto replenishment of newer total...
Amazing features and very professional UI elements. What about an auto replenishment script for AI stacks, so to avoid full stacks with 20 man units. It would really help the AI out.
At least the belgai could hopefully trash the hideous pritanoi before they paint the map in blue. Faction that start in the corners of the map should not be alone in their area, otherwise they'll...
Look i fell the same as you. I playd tw titles since shogun 1 too. Ofc the formula is stale after all this years of playing. I would also like more complex mechanics, especially in the diplomacy...
Two among thracians, illyrians, belgic or iberian/celtiberian. Any other mentioned faction would be a wasted slot for a full faction. Better just stick with eleutheroi. I would even argue that the...
Well there were no contrasting interests between them, wouldn't call that a century long alliance. Incidentally alliances and peace can be mantained in med2 if the other faction is focused on other...
Alliances are not a thing in tw games. Especially in old ones like med2. Consider them as non aggression pacts at best. Besides history is full of backstabbing and sideswitching.
i've found old twc posts that say they don't. i guess nobody really knows for sure.
You should not be getting that ancillary as Rome, it's a bug. It is intended only for greek factions. Roman reforms work exactly as written in the guide, go check there. This issue has been fixed in...
I hate to say this cause the mod is awesome but i think that some of the recent changes to roman units are a bit off. While the assets taken from other units are superior to the old ones technically,...
It is either that or no naval invasions. Apparently there's some kind of on/off condition for the ai that once activated makes naval invasions possible but also causes this kind of behaviour.
Playing as the romans javelin armed cavalry is pretty much all you can recruit in italy. Let me say that i like them a lot. Oscan and lucanian cavalry are a very solid unit, capable of inflicting...
Seems like the romans are the only one who cannot recruit adskoros (cisapline swordsmen) from an allied government built in konnion boion (felsina/bononia), they only get it from a civitas libera gov...
Does it happend in the menus? What i noticed is that if you right click in the menus the eop tries to launch the function to change the calendar display date, this causes an error window to pop up...
I'm suffering from the exact same problem as you since 2.4 came out. I've found that starting the mod thorugh the EOP launcher reduces the occurance of the random CTDs. But it is not recommended to...
Thanks alot for the changelog, cant wait to start a campaign with 2.4! I've seen that the romans have been reverted to normal tight loose formation. What was the reasoning behind them having a...
The term hasta was originally used rather interchangebly to refer to javelins and spears proper. One theory is that, before the so called camillian, reform the hastati were never able to afford an...
appereance and stats not matching for this unit.

yes you are perfectly right. in this regard MEDII is probably even harder than recent TW games, where you can just upgrade an old unit into a new one altogether. i was just sharing some random ideas...
ok now its more clear, thanks for the explanation! maybe 320/360 (1292/1312) it's a bit too late for transitional armour? or maybe partial plate units should be pushed a little bit ahead in time as...
so (1132+2*(160)) and (1132+2*(180)) means between year 1452 and 1492? but the event happened far before for me. shouldn't it be (1132+(160/2)) and (1132+(180/2)) each year being made by two turns?...
ok will try your suggestion for the buildings! yeah i can see the reasoning for gunpowder units event, even if i am not a fan of them. here/s my latest save btw.
EDIT: which counter should i...
I can't manage to build 3rd level mount saint michiel and 4th level notre dame in rouen and paris, respectively. they start building regularly for 2/3 turns and then they get cancelled (as in the...
Cannon event bug. Description says it should happen around 1324 but instead happened in 1282. i can build gunsmiths but no unit are available.

As of now ai armies of larger and richer factions are made up by a disproportionate amount of heavy cavalry (7 to 9 units at least) to the point that any army composition which is not heavy cavalry...
As always your units look wonderful. But maybe a more in depth reasoning on faction rosters should be made. maybe the look of dismounted sergeant at arms was right but they were just available too...
What about mounted sergeants? they are still not available to recruit after one of the first events (i think it was heavy mail). Thanks for all the hard work on the mod btw!
playing as france. got the event "templar dissolved" in 1252 even if the message says it happened in 1307. from that turn i am not able to recruit hospitaller knights anymore. strange thing is, i was...
playing France at medium difficulty.
1) at first it was not really a problem as conflicts were small and short, so the cycle of recruiting go on the offensive then disband worked pretty well....
regarding units stats what is the reasoning behind them? i've noticed there is a wild variation between units that on battle map appear to be equipped fairly similarly. like feudal knights having 13...
kositc are we still supposed to replace the files with the ones within "data XIII" once we reach the XIIIth century now that your mod is included in 0.98?
well they disappeared for me, together with levy archers and archers. the latter disappeared even earlier.
why mounted sergeant become unavailable so early? i'm playing as france and im at 1248 and they have disappeared from the pool of all settlement for quite some time now. not sure which historical...
Really enjoying the mod so far, i especially like the slower pace and the focus on historicity. A few questions:
as france i am not able to recruit regular archers anymore after the heavy mail...
