  3. Re: Machiavello TW (mid XV Century Italy) - original thread

Hm... feeling sorry for you. I wish you good luck with your boss then.
  4. Re: Machiavello TW (mid XV Century Italy) - original thread

No problem, mate. We're crossing our fingers for you! I'm sorry if that sounds rude, but just in case you will not be able to proceed the work for a longer period if at all, we would be extremely...
  5. Re: Machiavello TW (mid XV Century Italy) - original thread

I hope Mylae is alright and MachTW doing well.
  6. Sticky: Re: ITWE tool experts see here what we ask for if you want to help us.

    Hoping for it costs nothing.
  7. Re: Guide to the proper utilization of Halberds

Despite my amazement that took 10 years to get a really useful guide on halberdiers, I thank you for publishing it - this is actually valuable content, as opposed to many guides published in the last...
  8. Re: No welcome and field costs notifications

Thanks a lot, the events work correctly now. Strangely, the same, slightly different strings had been present in the file previously but did now show up. Maybe there had been a typo in the headers,...
  9. Re: The Great Conflicts main discussion thread. Please post here!

Though some Berber tribes did make use of pikemen quite extensively. The armies of both Almoravids and Almohads deployed a main infantry body made up of pikemen. But right, that's certainly not an...
  10. No welcome and field costs notifications

    Hello,
I've merged the English translation for BC7 with the Italian text from the Enhanced submod to play at least the biggest part of it in English. But now the boxes that would normally show the...

Still, I find it a fair point that the Armenian settlements should be christian, but not chalcedonian.

  13. Re: The Great Conflicts main discussion thread. Please post here!

Wow! The lombard units look stunning.
The scales of the viri illustres' armor seem thicker on the edges. Why is this so?
  14. Re: The Great Conflicts main discussion thread. Please post here!

This sounds extremely appealing. In contast to many other mods, you really take efforts to avoid potential bugs.

Excellent! Even though I lack the time for a bete test, I'm happy for everyone who will be allowed to try TGC out.

    Re: Byzantium Reskin [standby]

Thanks a lot for sharing you work, Arthalion!
I'd really love to see a version of this compatible to Sandy's WUO one day, no matter how unlikely it is.

    Re: RR/RC for IND

Too bad, that would really be a great improvement in the campaign. What do you mean with "adjusting"? Were there new units added since then?

Sticky: Re: Download Rusichi TW patch 1.1

You can see them in this submod of Stainless Steel as "Pronoiarioi", otherwise the minimod doesn't exist anymore.
  27. Sticky: Re: Deus lo Vult: Battlefield Balanced v4.36

You need military or governmental points for that, see the manual for details.
  28. Re: LASTEST VERSION15 22 march 2017!!STEVIETHECONQUER SUBMOD FOR VERSION 0.80

    I understand.
Good, thank you very much for your support - I'm looking forward to play FA again when the new AI is included.
  29. Re: LASTEST VERSION15 22 march 2017!!STEVIETHECONQUER SUBMOD FOR VERSION 0.80

That's very kind of you, but I wasn't able to solve the problem this way. Which of the .rar files contains the descr_geography_new.txt?
You can also have a look at the error log here, but I didn't...

Re: BULAT STEEL 2.1.5 LYNNV Edition TW

How likely is a release of the translation this April?
  32. Re: LASTEST VERSION15 22 march 2017!!STEVIETHECONQUER SUBMOD FOR VERSION 0.80

That didn't do the trick for me, unfortuately. However, I've noticed that neither my descr_geography_new.txt nor the descr_geography_new.db have rebuilt after I first deleted them. That's odd.
  33. Re: The Great Conflicts main discussion thread. Please post here!

What evidence is there on that? They're certainly not mentioned in the Taktika.
  34. Re: LASTEST VERSION15 22 march 2017!!STEVIETHECONQUER SUBMOD FOR VERSION 0.80

    Sticky: Re: {DIK} Discussion

That's probably right. Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, there are no reports about Confederacy troops in the 15th and 16th century using cavalry to a significant extent. In the battle of Marignano,...
  36. Re: The Great Conflicts main discussion thread. Please post here!

They most likely didn't. Look at the spot in the Alexiad (the paragraph that starts with "The warriors" at about 2/3 of the page) were it seems this was the first time Byzantines (or Medieval Romans)...
  37. Re: Machiavello TW (mid XV Century Italy) - original thread

Very interesting. Did they symbolise anything specifing or were they just supposed to scare the enemy?
  38. Re: LASTEST VERSION15 22 march 2017!!STEVIETHECONQUER SUBMOD FOR VERSION 0.80

Thank you, but for me, it's not really an option to move around 100 GB every time I want to play FA or one of the other mods. So I'll leave it for now until somebody finds a solution.
