    It could also be related to where, in what path, TW3K is installed, I mean if it's installed in the UAC-protected C:\Program Files(x86) folder.

    I am well aware of that, thank you. However, there is another thing that people sometimes forget to check, because the two RAM modules must be indentical otherwise the dual channel mode won't work.

    Having a larger garrison is one thing you can do, but also have built the border watch building as it allows detecting of spies and assassins plus have one spy and one assassin present will also help...
