Yeah, I also read that the limit hasn't been raised yet. But I don't think I've seen anything from official sources about it.

Shogun 2 didn't have small stacks of units everywhere, and that game didn't even have the army limit/General babysitter system. This system is just a lazy work around that does more harm than good.
Nope, not buying this. Sega & CA have really lost it now. I skipped rome 2 and atilla, and it looks like i'm skipping warhammer as well.
Eh, his music has been dull backgroud music up to this point (haven't played Attila though, so can't comment on that). The music for warhammer needs to be majestic and empowering, Beddow has not been...
You boys are getting off-topic, take your petty squabbles via PM instead.
If you already bought Rome 2 you can just install it and play it for a while to make your own assessment. I personally...
This feature would be nice. But I think it is more important to allow us to integrate vassals peacefully.
This was a glaring problem in Rome 2 if you played as Carthage or the Seleucids.
Yes he set that up in a way to make the problem extremely obvious, but the problem is still there. The unit collision is broken, individual soldiers are allowed to clip through eachother. That is the...
No, this is clearly framerate drops from the game, not the video.
Here's an update video he made: https://youtu.be/dy5GRaHzFnI
And a lot of the things he brings up are still there, I'm not blindly following his word. I just watched his videos and he found pretty...
Will there only be four factions? Or will the races have many factions in them, like the possibility to play as different electors in the empire or a different greenskin tribe etc...
Sorry to hear.
I don't think I can upload my whole installation. Try reinstalling it again maybe?
Maybe it has something with account permissions? Try looking at properties>security (of the...

Here are the files (except for the mod folder).
I have Stainless Steel installed, so I'm not sure how it will react. Try...
Are you using the disc version or the steam version of the game?
Here's what my install (Steam version) looks like: I'm on Windows 7 btw.

I marked the ones that are missing.
I like where this is going.
I don't see how people can place Rome 2 as one of the "top total war" games, I get that people will have different tastes in games and have the right to like whatever games they want to. But in the...
It probably will be 32 bit though, CA don't have the balls to disappoint the people that still use 32 bit systems (Literally dozens of them!)
Yeah, playing Shogun 2 at ultra with 2xMSAA. It looks and runs better than Rome 2.
Probably corrupted install maybe?
Try a reinstall of Medieval 2, make sure to backup your save files.
Didn't CA say some time ago that they lost the source code for the old engine? (Rome 1 & Medieval 2). So they can't make any changes to it.
This isn't really new information about Warhammer right? We already knew agents would participate in battles.
I have played a total of 18 hours. I reinstalled it for the emperor edition and recently for the patch 17 beta. Most of the initial bugs have been ironed out, but the game is still filled with awful...
I don't like these threads where youtubers just promote their channels. It feels dirty to me.
Buy the game from Steam and you'll get the updated version of the game.
It's there to make sure the kids are paying attention to the game.
Seriously though, the sound design has gone downhill in the recent titles.
I'm sorry but this thread is over 2 years old. I don't think the topic creator is interested in it anymore.
Oh I'm sorry, I wasn't talking about Atilla. I was just talking about pc games in general.
I don't play Atilla or Rome 2, I just play Shogun 2 atm and that one is decently optimized.
Or do what I do, spend money to get those sweet 60 fps. I won't accept anything below 60fps.

A bit disappointing in my opinion. I wonder if Richard Beddow will be composing for Warhammer, or if CA will pull in somebody new?
Town growth increases how much wealth your town brings in each turn (Town wealth). If you have a total of 10+ town wealth growth per turn, and you're currently making 1500 in income. The next turn...
I really dislike a lot of the design decisions of Rome 2. Instead of listing them all here, I'll just link two videos from the same guy that brings up all the criticism I have with the game.
He...
Playing some Endless Space 1 right now, it's pretty good if you can ignore the cinematic battles. I usually just set up some tactics and auto-resolve them.
This is what the encyclopedia looks like:

Maybe we can edit some of these htmls? You can open any of these html files and use the encyclopedia in a web browser of...
This is probably also affected by the fact that Rome 2 has no anti-aliasing.
It only has FXAA which basically just applies a blur on the screen, compare this to Shogun 2 which has MSAA 8x. Proper...
The encyclopedia is based on an app called "awesomium", which is basically a web browser. If you look in the "awesomium cache" folder in your game installation you'll see files with names like...
Splitting the game up is a good idea. The variety in warhammer is much bigger than any other total war title, so keeping it to 4 races per release is good for keeping up the quality of the races....
Yes, the framerate is not consistent. I wonder if CA will be able to optimize this without sacrificing too much fidelity.
Shogun 2 was well optimized, Rome 2 was not and I hear that Atilla is worse...
Wouln't a mature rating attract more buyers than the select few teenagers with very strict parents?
Most teenagers can get 18 rated games anyway.
Warhammer with all the blood and gore can be very...
Yeah, I think it mostly has to do with the lighting on the level. Rome 2 and Atilla seems to have a focus on darker lighting and more of the dusk/dawn type of lighting which makes it very difficult...
