You didn't close the </SLOT> for your guys' cloaks. When the engine doesn't have a closed slot, everything below it is ignored. Hope that helps!
I don't mind at all, in fact I'm really glad you were able to find a solution that works for you. Once you get the hang of the PFM you can really mess around with things.
In the Quarter Melee version I reduced charge bonuses by 1/4th, I assumed the mod quartered melee and charge bonuses. The base charge for Massalian Royal Guard is 31, and Massalian Hoplites is 30.
Updated to Version 3! Now includes a fully expanded navy for Massalia, with a variety of Greek and Celtic units, as well as unique Massalian crew for many ships.

The beta patch probably replaced the Startpos file, which would remove the ability to play Massalia.

Artillery is almost too worth it during camp and small town assaults. The AI will just sit there and you can slaughter their entire army with the first rank of artillery.

The automatic bonus of having explosive ammunition is pretty ridiculous in accuracy, considering you are firing at such closely packed troops.
Yep, CA has talked about it, hopefully they will fix it. In the mean time, mods will have to fill the gap. The hoplite phalanx is particularly damaged by this :(

In theory it should work fine for the AI, you only need the faction unlocker to actually play them. You will probably still need the Mod Manager, however.
