I played DEI 0.96 for 30 turns now, I can't believe that as Rome it took me 24 turns to finally take Patavium when it can easily be one of the first settlements ever captured by Rome, what happened...
I am guessing that 1.0 won't be compatible with 0.96 saves, right? I am really craving some Rome II but I've been waiting for DEI. I'm asking because I have a free week and I wanted to know if I...
I tested your mod, frankly I feel that it may bring forth too many benefits, perhaps reducing the movement and morale bonus a bit. While I played, my most used stance while conquering was this stance...
I'll be sure to check it out as soon as I get trough some exams, I might even help you out taking screenies, however I can't make videos for the time being. The submod looks promising though, and I...
Are you sure you have the "Enable out of date mods" checkbox enabled?
You can also try the unnofficial mod manager.
In all fairness, it was a foggy day, so it was supposed to be dark. But I agree with you, I found it hard myself to distinguish soldiers from trees and finding nice angles to take screenies has even...
Could you post your CTDing save in the Save Games Upload thread?
From what I understand: Veteran or "elite" units gain experience faster than non-veteran/elit units, in this mod experience beats "eliteness" because the mod seeks to simulate how soldiers who have...
Let's start slowly shall we?
Sometimes Rome II can be such a beatiful game...

But it can be...
Celtoi, I understand that your game crashes when you try to dimsantle/convert a building, correct?
I am hooked into my Roman campaign now. Let's celebrate this new patch with a couple of screenies showcasing cavalry running over routers!

It depends really, say I take a single region from a province but decide to not make a temple, it takes a long time. Then imagine a bordering faction declares war and the region is raided, or a...
I'd say you should go for 4TPY, makes the passing of the seasons more sense, as well as giving generals a better chance to influence the political game longer, if you scale down experience received...
The mod is still in beta, and a non-steam download would be mostly useless once the Emperor edition hits, in other words the mod is seeing far too many changes and updates making a non-steam download...
I believe battles involving Greek units are bugged and cause a crash, in my campaign as Rome I was able to fight Iceni without problems but when I tried to take Syracusean Lylybaeum the game...
But stances ought to be able to cover that, right? We don't necesarily need the army to be in the city, just in the province(which would make sense based on CA's province approach) in a certain...
I trust that your experience in modding so far plus your already worked on assets will speed things considerably. Besides, it's not as if you didn't have a trusty testing team who never ever go...
I don't think they intend to actually charge for the mod. Besides, isn't it for those games that incorporate Workshop items into their shops? Like TF2?
Eventually the picts will be modded in. Nudity is not a matter of if, but of when.
To be fair, I don't expect anyone to max the game with 480 men untis.
I like those stance changes, I already had fun managing my armies outside my settlements but now I can also increase the PO with an army. Armies start to become a tool, where their position on the...
I know what you mean, I personally have invested somewhere about 50-60 hours combined in Paradox titles, but I've spent more than 280 hours on Rome II alone.
You should try Paradox's games then, like Europa Universalis or Victoria, the campaign maps are a tad more complex than TW because that's their focus instead of the battles.
The replenishment rates are heavily affected by the amount of food surplus you have, I believe navies come off even worse than land units in that regard. How much food do you have?
I believe this was done to reflect that not every soldier was rich enough to provide his own sword, I think that some didn't even brought daggers, honestly it makes sense to me, if you are going to...
There is no confirmed expansion yet, but it is expected that CA does something similar to the Fall of the Samurai expansion for Shogun 2, except of course it would be a Roman based expansion,...
Well, as far ask I know the combat animations have been modified to remove stabbing animations from axemen and clubmen, but I am uncertain if this also removes other animations. The rapid punch and...
So far only Rome has seen changes, this mod has changed mechanics more than rosters right now, like the naval and siege overhauls. But it is still in beta for a reason, no doubt they'll come up with...
I'm sorry blood and gore, but I got myself M&B Warband instead
Hmmm... Todays battles were won mostly by cavalry superiority and a finishing hammer and anvil once a player lost all his cav.
Two new battles in the all-new Beta 1.7190614!! Today's contestants: Me and Sneakythief.
First: Suebi vs Carthage, and long story short, the Suebi got completely destroyed, even before Carthage sent...
I've only got $4 on my Steam Wallet, lol. I guess I'll get a cheap game, even though that blood pack is tempting me!
Of course.
My HDD is not top notch, and it butchers gameplay footage whenever I try to record it. So I can't either. Though honestly, I think if I fiddle around with it for a while I'll manage to record it, but...
Using Beta 1.6020614
Today's contestants: Kirinji and me. Epirus vs Rome in a desert slightly dotted by plants and a small hill. The main confrontation was between hoplites and legionaires clashing...
The main CCXVIII.BC campaign has been announced, and it will have a 4tpy format.
