I have not tested it yet, but I reccomend playing Deus Lo Vult mod. It includes the Flanders mod and adds allot of features to the game etc. And It definatly works with 1.2 ;)

10. It's a small bug that can be fixed by moving the sound files from your vanilla datafolder into the DLV_Ext data folder....
I also noticed then when I do a custom battle on the Scottisch Plains, all I see is water and my units are submerged :s

So remove the heraldry from the kite/round shields then? I could perhaps give the Kite and Round shields the colors from the heraldic designs but not put the lions etc on it?
Hmm well the sound files are from mtw2 1.1 so that might be a reason.. If that is the reason I'll remove the soundtext files for now.

The missing riders can be fixed by the mini-mod I put on the forum here. And intressting that it didn't crash this way.. The plot thickens;. :P

Yea me too, first I thought it was because I was playing with Flanders and it might be a bug (like some else posted here on the forum) but it seems to crash with other factions too.
Like I said in some other posts I'm willing to join the team. I can do a bit of everything. I've released Flanders Faction Mod so check that out if you want to see if I'm qualified or not.

I think I actually overlooked it in my Flandersfaction mod too, in fact I was unaware of it, so...
This mini-mod tweaks Flanders, to make it more realistic to it's historical counterpart.

Uploaded some new screenshots at the download page, the previous ones were taking using a low-end machine which made the units looky smirky and just plain bad. ;)

I can add different shields with heraldry of the different city militias, but then you might see a militia man from Brugge fight next to a militia man from Gent for instance. Now imo that wouldn't be...

Is the shield just gonna remain wood? I've seen some test with viking shields and the plain wooden ones without edge/leather covering wouldn't stand to the slightest blow, and...
The BBC documentary Blood of the Vikings has a nice scene of Vikings raiding a monestary but that is probably unusable due to copyright and stuff.
The band Tyr have some nice songs, not the hardest of viking metal but it sounds great to me :P

try taking the contents of the flandersfaction1 folder and put everything straight into the mtw2 folder.
Its similar to Winzip except this is used for .rar files.

Extract the contents of the rar file (using winrar) into the Medieval 2 folder. There is a readme included in the rar for further instructions.
The faction is there you just can't see the banner yet so I'm afraid you will have to click in the open 'till you hit it ;) This will be fixed asap
