    crusadesmechanics are somehow imune against any modding or altering. iīve tried to alter stats in vanilla files regarding crusades, but most of them donīt have any effect ingame.

    iīm not sure about the non-chalcedonians, because we have heretics for this minor religions. as they doesnīt follow the mainline factions or the papal states, heretics will fit them good enough

    we have an optional submod of mostly historical music ready. the battlefield uses trees from an older mod for RomeTW - Romas Surrectum II :tongue:

    Just finished the last scipting for the first closed beta. Kiev now has a big quest at the beginning too + some fixed issues and a big pagan revolt in itīs midgame events.

    nothing is more depressing, as if you download a mod and you arenīt able to play your campaigns at least 200 turns or more.
    the mod will be forgotten and the development of years becomes senceless....

    the amount unitīs are different for each faction and not finished. in the end most factions have betwenn 10-15 units. besides this, every faction is able to recruit local levy and some will hire...

    this impacts and unitmass are a reason why me2tw still feels better in battles than newer tw games. it hurt my eyes if i see cavalry riding through packed infantry like they didnīt exist.

    Eastern franks for example need to conquer the grenzmarken + great parts of italy (iron crown) to become the Holy roman empire. they completly change into the HRE with new units and culture.

    Btw, the campaign is getting harder for the player.
    Iīm currently finetune the Campaignsetting to provide a base for research in the upcomming alpha phase. It will be difficult, but not impossible...

    the regular turns are counted under the "next turn" button. so 4 turns per year, starting at 872 shouldnīt be too difficult for player that need the actual date. in the pictures case: 96 tuns/4 = 24...

    the forts use different vanilla battlemodels for city and largetown. so depending on the culture of the fort, you will fight a real 100% siegebattle.

    the problem with disbanding soldiers is, that population of a settlement is something different. thatīs the reason me2tw disband this feature from rtw.

    they are recruited native "latin" population. not exactly frankish or langobard native people. if this factions rule there lands, they become available
