As for suggestions...
It's been a lengthy while since I last checked the progress on this mod; fascinating work, no doubt the biggest detail I've ever seen (although im sure the other 'major' mods have done greater...
If I remember correctly, wasn't this mod still partly unfinished? And they've only released it so to not keep people waiting any longer. Bottom line is, they probably know about all the issues the 2...
Irishron seems to be the guy you need.
Absolutely. If you have any questions, ask them here! I'll try to help as much as I can. :thumbsup2
It's quite simple, actually!
Assuming you have all the sound files in your mod folder and all 39 .txt files in your mod's data folder, then all you need to do is edit the...
Hey guys, a conundrum.
I extracted the main game's .dat files and received all the sounds, and when I rebuilt them (with changes in .txt files, of course), a unit's sounds went missing. I thought...
TA 3.0? As in Third Age 3.0?
What does that have to do with this? You're in the wrong mod section.
Note for those who crash on launch:
Try deleting all the files found in the sounds folder of the mod and then following these steps found here (follow the steps, ignore the actual post. It's...
Upload links of both the original mod and its stand-alone version developed by Condottiere Giovanni dīMedici are now available on twcenter again.
Original :...
This thread gets updated by devs quite often -- check back every now and then, you should see an update.
Else you can check this page on moddb to see if there's anything new!
Unfortunately, that's probably not ''fix-able'', as you can't do much with saved games. In a certain mod, I experienced this and during my attempts at finding what it is, it turned out to be a...
Delete .bin files in text folder, maybe that'll do it
Are you using English patch?
Did you check system.log?
Shouldn't be so, but maybe. Have you tried to use unmodified ones with the same process?
Also did you download the handy descr_strat.txt fix someone posted in this thread? Very helpful!
EDIT:...
Also, for those experiencing problems with English translation cutting off or non-existing (like in Diplomacy menu, etc..), go into your text folder and delete all files with .bin
after their name....
Sounds amazing! Can't wait to try it out :whistling
The UI cards for buildings are seemingly unusual, but like the other guy said, they're pretty informative! Nice work! :)
Looks as if so, yes. Regardless, they're incredible
Outstanding news! Absolutely cannot wait! Incredible job, and effort, as well!
Those are insane! It's mind-puzzling how long those must have taken to make. Incredible job!
That's crazy! So cool that the ghostgate is an actual ghostgate and not just a wall. Amazing you guys got that included!
These are incredible! You must go through some work to create these. Outstanding!
5 hours! Lots of coffee? :laughter:
I played it for quite a bit as well when I first found it -- had a pesky bug that made game impossible to end but it's long fixed now.
Amazing work! So many buildings you managed to fit in, too :laughter:
I'm glad it worked! It's a tricky bit that one - had many issues with it myself.
Also thank you Philadelphos, very kind of you, and I'm glad to be an asset :)
From looking at your screenshot, I think I saw the problem. The pathfile is incorrect. In the "Start In" box it claims:
"C:\Programme\Activision\Rome - Total War" is the pathfile.
However,...
Do you have Steam? If so, just put the "-show_err -mod:RTH" into the advanced launch options for RTW. Right click RTW in your game library and go to properties and to the General tab. Once in there,...
Ahh! A little late, but glad you sorted that win condition CTD. Downloading as I speak... eager to play! Nice work :thumbsup2
Indeed. Let's pray you'll never have to, then. :whistling
Pardon me for that hehe. On the contrary, the launcher still works. I just have to launch it through Steam now (with Steam UI) against launching it from folder directly. I guess I overreacted a tad...
So concerning the Launcher... what the hell happened? I wanted to hop on to play a mod and the damn thing wasn't there(don't know why in the first place!). So I put back the custom launcher made by...
I didn't think so, someone was just deluded. Oh well, sea trade being fixed is good enough. :laughter:
Apparently, a new update emerged recently.

Thank you for the advice -- I couldn't particularly find what you meant, but I don't think this will be an issue. I'll restart my campaign eventually ( I get bored of having a large empire over...
Yes, oddly enough it's a little sporadic... on first instance I could take the city and decide its fate (occupy, etc...) then it would crash. Later on, it didn't even allow me to do that and would...
During playing as Rome with this mod, I've seemed to attract a CTD whenever I capture a city, which in turn completes my win condition (50 territories, ''imperator''). At first I thought it was not...
Hmm. Unrelated to the problem DrkDragon has, I've came across a rather interesting statement put out by a Steam user on the infamous Steam Community Discussion thread on the issues put out by these...
Sure! Yeah, I feel you. Kind of sucks cause I reinstalled Medieval 2 plenty in my times amateurishly modding. Just when I thought I was done, the update came lol. Definitely a kick in the gut.
