    Let me answer your questions.
    Crossbows had indeed more penetration and range than an average bow.
    Combosite bows had more penetration and range. I guess you never encountered in battle Pechenegs...

    In my Tutorial about making animated archers there is a link for an update by FabiusBile placing arrows in proper place in the hand holding the bow.
    ALL you need to do is overwrite his newest files...

    Not all animations need fixing. The vanilla animations hide some treasures like the javeing throwing without the "extra" javelins holding as resetve to disapear (99.9% of mods do not nottice that)....

    Just a clarification.
    We are talking for the units that made few years agi and NOT that included in The Great Conflicts mod.
    Inorder to use those units you have to code them in your mod your self....

    The MARKA models of Rus cities with more than 4k kb sizes can not be opened by IWTE.
    They were placeholder models any way.
    I started to replace them with TGC's settlement common style with sizes...

    You can assign vertices in 3 bones without crashing. Our lance banner wavering is doing that.
