    Giving you a fast answer, I would say that you didn´t changed the internal name of senate faction correctly. I don´t remeber now all the files that should be modified, but probably it is something...

    EB it has a normal installation, like most of the mods, as well as RSII, but personally I find RSII more complicate to understand because inteface changes.

    If EB doesn´t include installed the force diplomacy mod, you have to do it by yourself. This is not completely easy if you have no modding knoweledge, because I think that you can´t overwrite files...
